Don't forget, we will have WOS Offensive Co. Coach Toby Foreman in our booth to join us on our halftime show. It will be a real treat and honor to here Coach Foreman talk about this past week. We will have this live halftime interview taped to play later tonight on the Jasper/Newton Electric Scoreboard Show.

All fair suggestions, but probably will not happen. This site is based on pageviews, so each game will have a thread. There is a list of broadcasts on the homepage. Also, the stadium location thread stays in a sticky, never moves. Having the history of previous week's rankings doesn't seem too important, but that can be done by creating a thread with all the past week's trankings and putting it in a sticky.

Tonight, the Silsbee Tigers will play host to their oldest and greatest rival, the Jasper Bulldogs, in the Tiger's Homecoming game for 2010!! This will be the 73rd meeting between these two teams and as it has always been in the past, it doesn't take much for these two teams to get up for one another. Jasper comes in 1-3 on the season after falling to WOS last week, 27-7. Silsbee has lost 2 in a row, losing to Newton 40-26, evening their record to 2-2. But records can be thrown out when these two old rivals play. Pre game broadcast at Tiger Stadium will start at 7pm, with kickoff to follow at 7:30pm. Mike Sanchez and Tim Scoggins will be on the call as always. We will have a very special guest on our halftime show tonight. Then that brings up this question. Since you do not have kids in the HJISD and you say that you would never have your kids attend HJISD, then swag, why are you so concerned with what goes on over at HJISD? From what I know, none of the kids that you have spoken about were forced to stay at HJ. ;)

I didn't know that there was such a thing as a "head" jv coach. ::) Most jv teams that I have seen, the OC runs the offense, the DC runs the defense. 14 wins at the JV level is not what I would be looking for to fill an AD position. ;)

[/quote] I have not seen this year's version of Jasper (only heard), but they cannot be as bad as the Jasper team in '06. That year, Silsbee defeated them 35-0 in just over 2 quarters. A very bad storm blew in with about 8 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, teams waited for 15 minutes and then Jasper's coach decided to just end it. I have said it many times, that was by far the worst Jasper team I had ever seen and I have seen many of them over the years.
