You have to be very careful when considering the AP as a viable source in regards to all state. It wasn't that long ago that Nederland's Dravanti Johnson was named 4A Defensive Player of Year for the entire state yet he was only 2nd team all district voted on by the coaches who actually saw him play every week. Not saying Montana didn't deserve those honors, but the AP can be very skewed.
