The Bridge City Cardinals will take on the Silsbee Tigers in a big 21-3A district game, Saturday at the Tiger Diamond, 2pm start time. Bridge City (18-7, 7-0) ranked #22 in state polls this week, lost to Carthage Monday night in non-district action, 7-3. Silsbee (19-4, 7-1) ranked #23 in state polls, squeaked by Buna Tuesday night, 4-3, to remain a half game behind BC for first place. The Cards defeated the Tigers in first half of district play at home, 5-4 in 8 innings. Our broadcast will start at 1:50pm with first pitch scheduled for 2pm.
