No way. They got the big mural to intimidate the visiting team, which they didn't need btw. HJ is the heavy favorite to win district this year.

Yes they did. Match ups, all about match ups. Silsbee just doesn't match up well with HJ.

I am only speaking of this year.

I am basing my thoughts off the fact that HJ won the last game and lost to Sterling by less points than Silsbee lost to Sterling. That's what counts, doesn't it?

TxHoops, this kind of talk will make you an HJ hater and one with no knowledge of high school basketball. You have crossed the proverbial line. You are now on the dark side.

OJ was found not guilty of killing his ex wife yet he lost a civil suit and had to pay millions to his ex family. Never liked how one can be found innocent in criminal court but can be liable in civil court.

I have been enlightened. HJ owns Silsbee. Silsbee cannot compete.

Title of the thread is "Best Coach in Texas". Why just limit the pickings to just those 4 coaches? I would add all Texas college coaches, including Kingsbury.

Why limit it to just 4 coaches?

Is the answer to this question limited to just these 4 coaches?

Saying "you don't know why" is not an explanation for the POTUS non action.

Give me some examples of those "titles". BTW, there is no Hispanic history month. St. Patricks Day is celebrated around the world, not just an American holiday. July 4th is Independence Day, birth of our country, celebrated by all Americans regardless of race or color. Question, is there a Black History Month acknowledged in other countries besides the United States?

We do? Never seen any month labeled "White History Month". I am thinking you need and hour or so to come up with an explanation of your silly comment.

The coach after Nelson was not local.

But isn't Anthony considered a local guy who moved to coach outside the area? Isn't this the same that these other coaches did when they got hired? Yet you state it's a "typical" BISD hire like it was a reason why Anthony was not hired. Is it fair to say that you would have been ok with the "typical BISD hire" had they hired Anthony? Because that hire would have been exactly what you are stating as a "typical" hire.

But, you said BISD does not hire coaches who are coaching outside the area at that time. You just gave me several examples of BISD doing just that.

Do we as a country have "White History Month"?

The last three Ozen football coaches came from outside. Foreman was coaching outside the area when he got the Central job. So were previous coaches that Central hired.

Should we do away with singling out one month to celebrate one race? Couldn't that be offensive to some folks and be considered bias towards one race?

When you say BISD does not hire from outside SETX is that just for basketball or all sports?
