[/quote] The best JV players I have seen this year are on Ozen and Silsbee's teams. But neither of those players can move up to varsity this season due to transfer rules. WOS has a real good JV. A couple of those could help the Mustangs in the playoffs. (if they make it over HF) Speaking of Hamshire-Fannett, I saw no player on that JV team that could help out the Longhorn varsity if they were to make the playoffs.

[/quote] You are pointing out a specific team, which I do not think was necessary. It doesn't matter to me which team you would have pointed out.

[/quote] We have all seen teams rise and fall due to coaching changes, Silsbee included.  Similar to when Green left Central, Boutte left Ozen, and Gambl leaving PA the second time! [/quote] I don't consider Sigler a new coach. He did coach Silsbee from 1987 to 2003. He knows Silsbee and Silsbee knows him. I don't expect to see any fall off. I have seen what is coming up in the sub varsity ranks for Silsbee (7th and 8th district champs). I see no change. Sigler will do quite well in his second tenure at Silsbee.

Locally, we only have two 5A's and seven 4A's. (unless of course you include North Shore, Baytown Sterling, Livingston and any of the 19-4A teams). To complete a 16 team field you would need to add 7 more teams. Other than HJ, Silsbee, WOS and HF, who else would fill out the brackets?
