Silsbee has 9 varsity basketball players playing varsity football. Silsbee will be taking just 5 varsity players (Grubbs, Maze, Tanton, fresh. McCain, fresh. Adams) to North Shore. The other 4-5 players are JV or 9th players.

What da heck?!!

This. It's my understanding his parents are not in the country. Both players are staying with guardians. Neither will be eligible to play varsity ball this season.

I have been told neither will see varsity action this year wherever they enroll. Will have to sit out a year and play JV ball.

That talk is on the Kelly basketball thread. Old news

Considerations can be made in those type situations. No worries.

I could, but then I would be like someone else on this board.

Your choice

But soon to be real funny.

My favorite team is ranked, along with 6 of it's conference mates.

I believe in supporting the conference that your favorite team resides in. I was a huge SWC and Big 12 supporter. I know several Houston, Rice and Arkansas fans that did the same. I see no problem with cheering your conference on. I believe you can have a favorite conference and a favorite team just not favorite conferences and favorite teams. Jordan seems to feel the same way. You shouldn't have a problem with new rule. You are all burnt in all sports as far as college goes.

You can have favorite conferences. I believe it to be apples and oranges with this subject.

We will put the rule in first, then act accordingly.

Jordan and I were talking about the subject of having multiple favorite high school, college and pro teams in every sport. I have just about convinced him to make it a rule on SETXsports that you can only have one favorite college and pro team for all sports. So expect very soon a new rule to be put in for posting here at SETXsports.

SEC was 6-2 (if Mizzou holds on) out of conference today. No use in posting conference match ups. Those push

Toledo 16 Arkansas 12 Final

Being told he will probably not see a varsity court this season.

Too funny!!!

Ain't dat sweeeeeeet!

Own?? smh

Agree 100%

Charging the opponents band is completely ridiculous and then charging them $100 a seat, that's pure madness and nothing but out and out greed. There's business and then there is greed.

Charging for the band?? What the hell!!! Is this practice done anywhere else in college football?

Thought this game was on ESPNU?
