Football is not a tourney that includes semis.

Guess what, nobody is on the payroll at Smoaky and they don't keep up with baseball or softball near as well as this site. Maxpreps is apples and oranges.

Nobody gets paid here, including Grad and myself.

Not unless SXSW leaves or moves to a different month. Talked to UIL officials this past weekend. They have no intentions of going back to Austin until then.

This is such a true statement. If you look at the box scores of all the games, Silsbee's bench played more minutes and scored more points than any other team in the tourney, all classifications. And both games for Silsbee were close games, not blowouts where you "empty" the bench in 4th Q. The Argyle game is a great example. Close game throughout, 0-6 point whole game. Silsbee bench played a combined total of 54 minutes and scored 15 out of the 46 points, while Argyle bench played a combined total of 10 minutes and scored 0 points. Silsbee's first 3 off the bench (Newton, Tyler, Jones) are so much more important to the team than any other teams first three in tourney. Heck, Jones made All Tournament.

I was told it would be co-coaches. Guess I heard wrong.
