If you are referring to me, in my opinion Levias or Durley (yes I know West Brook stadium is named after him) is just more deserving of having the stadium named after one of them than Thomas. Like the article stated, things weren't so good under Thomas reign after all. Name a school or an admin building after him. Let the sports venues be named after sportsman.

I still say the name should be Jerry Levias or Alex Durley Stadium.

I know in the recent past that Lamar doesn't let high schools use their stadium on home weekends. Also they charge more on weekends when they are away because of having to have stadium personnel available when they wouldn't have to. Things may be different now with new AD and HC.

It's my understanding that as long as Barbay is AD at Jasper, Jasper will no longer schedule Silsbee in any sport.

Might want to check that schedule again. Your Jasper head coach chose not to play Silsbee any more.

Another update from Rebecca: Rebecca here. Todd's surgery is finished and will be back in his room in ICU in a little while. Surgery was uneventful and he is doing well. Yay!

Report from Todd's wife: Good morning. This is Todd's wife Rebecca. Todd is going into surgery for his kidney transplant. Todd is doing fantastic. He was awake and communicating with me (nodding his head, thumbs-up sign, etc.). His condition is as perfect as it can be right now. God bless you all for your prayers. They are working.

The surgery went well and Todd's body so far is not rejecting the heart. All is good. He will be getting the kidney transplant at 4am tomorrow morning.

Todd is currently in surgery getting his new heart. If everything goes well he will get a new kidney tomorrow.
