Not sure yet. Probably will be what volleyball is currently doing.
I did see where UIL is probably going to allow tournaments for baseball and softball this coming season.
If Silsbee finishes 2nd and wins their first round game, then yes they would play Carthage in 2nd round.
A 3rd place finish and two play off wins would likely have them playing Carthage in 3rd round.
Winning district is of the upmost importance this year and next.
When you say "this area" what particular chapter are you referring to?
BTW, I have seen for myself and have heard of running clock situations in many areas across the state.
What I don't get is if it's a rule to not have a running clock then why would game officials allow it?
Can they allow teams to have 5 or 6 downs to get a first down? What about only having to get 5 yards for a first?
What about making touchdowns only 5 points if both coaches agree?
I don't see anything wrong with Silsbee's non-district schedule.
Probably 4-5 state ranked teams in that schedule.
Sigler is not going to schedule this year like he has the last several years because of what kind of team he has.
I was at a game yesterday morning where the two high school enrollments combined is less than 150 and wasn't much social distancing and mask wearing there.
I think most folks have grown tired of it all.
HJ no longer in the district.

If you remember, the player they were trying to play QB was the RB Taylor, who didn't want to play the position. The Johnson kid quit the team to play baseball. Foster was basically what was left.
He did ok but was not the leader of the team.
I disagree with the "leading" part.
If you were to see his career stats and the game film that I have seen, I think you would understand some of the fans disappointment in the QB play the last 3 years.
Foster is the safe play right now.
