  1. Better watch that running clock. @THE DUDEmight report it to the UIL.
  2. I guess the left aren't the only ones with "Fake News" "false narratives" and "misleading press".
  3. Livingston radio will broadcast the game. KETX 102.3
  4. When you say "this area" what particular chapter are you referring to? BTW, I have seen for myself and have heard of running clock situations in many areas across the state.
  5. What I don't get is if it's a rule to not have a running clock then why would game officials allow it? Can they allow teams to have 5 or 6 downs to get a first down? What about only having to get 5 yards for a first? What about making touchdowns only 5 points if both coaches agree?
  6. No such thing as a low scoring game when Beaumont West brook is involved.
  7. Probably depends on the host school's protocols.
  8. I certainly never said that.
  9. Is Hunter running for President?
  10. I don't see anything wrong with Silsbee's non-district schedule. Probably 4-5 state ranked teams in that schedule. Sigler is not going to schedule this year like he has the last several years because of what kind of team he has.
  11. Dewey by 9 but pulling for my peeps at the Dale.
  12. I was at a game yesterday morning where the two high school enrollments combined is less than 150 and wasn't much social distancing and mask wearing there. I think most folks have grown tired of it all.
  13. HJ no longer in the district. Basketball and baseball district looks like this for next two years: Bridge City LC-M Lumberton Orangefield Silsbee WO-S Vidor
  14. Silsbee's non-district schedule Nov. 17 at Hardin-Jefferson Nov. 20 at Crosby Nov. 23 Houston Stafford Dec. 1 at Beaumont West Brook Dec. 5 at Barbers Hill Dec. 8 at Beaumont United Dec. 12 Woodville Dec. 14 Lake Charles LaGrange Dec. 18 Beaumont United Dec. 21 at Lufkin Dec. 29 Center District schedule Dec. 15 at Orangefield Jan. 5 Bridge City Jan. 8 at Lumberton Jan. 12 WO-S Jan. 15 at LC-M Jan. 19 Vidor Jan. 22 Orangefield Jan. 29 at Bridge City Feb. 2 Lumberton Feb. 5 at WO-S Feb. 9 LC-M Feb. 12 at Vidor
  15. My mistake. I thought Soulja made the post I quoted. My bad.
  16. But you posted earlier that Foster led the team to back to back semifinals.
  17. If you remember, the player they were trying to play QB was the RB Taylor, who didn't want to play the position. The Johnson kid quit the team to play baseball. Foster was basically what was left. He did ok but was not the leader of the team.
  18. I disagree with the "leading" part. If you were to see his career stats and the game film that I have seen, I think you would understand some of the fans disappointment in the QB play the last 3 years. Foster is the safe play right now.
  19. I know enough. I'm fine. I still will continue to do a good job like you say.
  20. Maybe the UIL has an exception to allow coaches and officials to agree to a running clock? A running clock that is agreed upon by all parties (both head coaches and officials) has been going on for years and years and years. Not once have I ever heard of a complaint from an outside entity (another coach or admin in the district with the participating schools). The UIL allows the DEC to handle most things. I would think all DEC's are ok with running clocks when they are agreed upon.
  21. and a running clock in the 2nd half just for @THE DUDE
  22. 12 minutes each?? They already are 12 minute quarters.
  23. THIS!!! All the troubles that was going on at BISD at the time, I would not blame any parent for moving out to another school district. Particularly East Chambers. EC is an awesome school district. But, in the cases that I suspect some of you are talking about, it was family moves that brought them to EC, not athletics. BTW, I believe BISD has their act together now (or at least better than it was).
