now, i'm not going to bring trash off the streets and local paper and the past on a football forum...unless you are lacking common sense, you can read between the lines and so does everyone else. it's apparent in this thread alone of what i'm talking about when you look at the posters opinions on this matter...so if you KNOW why, and I know why, and the people with common sense know why...there is no need for me to explain ANYTHING...now son, keep it to football and not get so butt hurt princess...God loves you and all your mid county cronies...so cheer guy and go have yourself a soda at the local "Lou's" and listen to the jukebox with walley and the beave...such a good sport...poor misguided mid countian...

And in defending them, they almost always win the battle of the bands which is judged on a totally different criteria... I guess winning those trophies are more of a priority now. The payoff is to get invited to big college games and pro games...

We play Cherokee loud :D And it sounds good, but I know what you mean AAW. The Show Tunes we play are not loud. Our band is huge this year, 230 + members, yet when they play for the twirlers you can barely hear. Sometimes "music" is lost when its blasted. In Centrals case, their style and choice of music is suited for "blasting".  We enjoy it and it rocks the stadium.

Bands suppose to be loud and noisy...It a football game! Nobody wants a Christmas Concert at halftime. :D Just Saying!

Ok, I'll chime in. Like usual, there is a load of talent on both sides of the ball, on both teams. Sorry to say, I have no faith in the current WB coaching staff. Different offensive, and defensive, scheme every year. That's not a way to build a winning program. Maybe I'll be wrong, and the Bruins accidentally squeak out a win, but my gut tells me Foreman will out coach Flanagan.

The bands will be at every game this year......Ozen and Central....trust me.

Looking forward to this game. I can't believe many of these kids are Seniors. Through All of the smack talk, I'm truly going to miss these kids.

I predict a great season for the Jags. Foreman was a home run hire and, with a full year with the kids now, people are going to see why.

Yeoj , we both know I don't have money so bring me a coke after the game, Now don't get me wrong I like PA , West Brook, and Ozen, but I stated last year Central will go to State in Football and Basketball twice in both sports in the next three years.

PA will beat Ozen like they stole something(I'm not saying Ozen don't have talent, just not enough)

PA will beat West Brook like they stole something( I'm not saying West Brook don't have any talent they just don't have enough' or coach Stump)

PA will lose to Central by two touchdown the teams are equal on talent and speed but Central has a better defense coach, and if PA had Central DC they would go to state twice in the next three years, Central and PA has the same type athletics in every sport but Basketball.

Just in from the scrimmage. WB O-line is huge and there RB is gonna be really good. WB played starters for first 3 series then back ups for 2 i believe before the half. Then brought out starters for 2 more after the half. They have some work to do but so do we. PN-G was competitive most of the game. Highlights for the Indians...Morse looked good tonight. Gave us a small example of what we will see this season. Giblin was near unstoppable he was open it seemed all nite. Cropper and Runnels(sp) both were impressive junior and soph. at RB as our starter Halfin watched the whole thing from the sidelines. McZeal had some bright moments and some drops that were good passes. Then he made a awesome shoestring catch to keep a drive alive. Great play youngster. He showed flashes of what the rest of the district will have to deal with for the next three seasons. 6'4" 210 soph. All in all it was just a scrimmage so the score doesnt matter. It would not have been the same if the treams were playing for keep. I thought the Indians did a good job handling the much bigger Bruins size. Lots of work to be done for both teams.

Kville scored more TD's than Ozen did in that scrimmage.

I remember when Kirbyville scrimmaged Ozen. They thought they was gonna beat the Wildcats because we small school.....wrong! Fred Ford ran circles around that Ozen defense... :D  :D  :D

Still don't get why Lumberton would scrimmage BC when we play them during the season

I hope they are all full of bull and the storm dissapates. This time of year, storms continually slingshot off the African coast. I just hope none make landfall, especially in the Gulf.

Isn't the object of non district to play "up" as much as possible and challenge your team in order to be more prepared for district play and playoffs?
 
How would playing Nederland or PN-G be beneficial to PAM? Shouldn't the Titans be more interested in playing bigger, stronger 6A schools?
 
How about schedule some of the Spring schools, Katy schools, Cy-Fair schools, Woodlands schools, Fort Bend schools, Pearland, or Aldine schools?

Leftover talent from the Stowers era. Those kids were underclassmen then and was coached up and knew how to win. When that last crop (2010) came and gone, it was in the dumps after that.

Remember, this was the same regime that let 10 players play on defense for about 6 minutes in a game that we lost...
