Smh, man its Lovelady then the rest of the pack. I will say this: Centerville will finally win a game this yr when district starts. They're 0fer right now.
Wow. Didn't Centerville go like three or four rounds deep last year? Graduation must have hit em hard...

Gator remember ole Chris Herman FB for Finney in slot t? Brandon Maughan could do it the same as Chris....
You gonna be in Pineland Friday night, Bobcat? I'll be the one on WS's sideline toting the clipboard......

I think the Tigers came together as a team after the way the Elysian Fields game went down at the end. I think they are galvanized as a team. If they play up to their capabilities it will be a good game.....

If you're call my way of thinking delusion, then I'm afraid there's no hope. Because I've always been very blunt, very straight forward and to the point, and have zero sympathy. The only way to find sympathy with me would be if I was carrying a dictionary.
We all know what opinions are like…….

Well, I guess we know who the Debbie Downer of this thread is! Lighten up man! Think positive thoughts, oldschool2! You sound bitter from what I've read on here. You know what the cure for that is? Jack and Coke or Crown and Coke. Have a shot or two and LOOSEN UP! :-)

They don't emphasize athletes like Evadale does because they do it right. For starters...perfectly located close to Buna, Lumberton, and Silsbee. So they get great transfers..but they're selective. Like every other successful small school in existence. Only allow certain transfers and you control your population. Kudos for that.
And PD126...you honestly think I wouldn't know about the select ranks of...ALL sports. Several of my buddies that played college ball with me coach in the college ranks. We talk..often. I know better competition is available.
But tell me this...what's the % of 3A and down high school athletes are out there seeking better completion? Well..it's low. And the smaller the school gets..the smaller the %.
MOST small school kids only see what their high school team sees.
West Sabine has four players off their last three teams now playing college ball, with one being a starting safety at Northwestern State (Desmond Lacey) ,two others starting at Kilgore JC (Reshod Williams) and at Sul Ross University (Kirkland Wilson), and one red shirting at SFA (Hunter Cabral). Not bad for a little bitty 2A school......

More positive thoughts from oldschool2, I see. Ever thought about being a motivational speaker? You can't waste all that positive energy, you know......

include the asst coach in that too. I think ppl going all in on those two kids and dont even care the asst coach looks as if he is the cause of this happening.
I agree 1,000,000% man. Get the asst. coach an orange jumpsuit too.....

Suspended: yep. Thrown in jail: no. No more football this season: yep!
This isn't the nfl and we all know they have issues and know why, is it right? Nope. College the same as well.
These two need to spend their weekends(MANY weekends, mind you) serving their community...
-
Reports are now saying the players said the referee used racial slurs towards them. That's the excuse that these two are using for this cowardly act......

West Sabine is coming off a 68-32 victory over Burkeville and Hemphill is coming off a 50-8 over Hull-Daisetta. West Sabine has taken the last three trophies home but in this game you throw the records out the window. Who gets this game and why?

I can live with that......I think it'll come down to WS @ Shelbyville week 10 for the title, but if there is one constant in this district it is expect the unexpected.......
-
I agree, RaiderRed. I have never been a fan of the bye week anyway. Look what the bye week did for my WS squad last year. Just thinking there might be a Scarborough-esque situation potentially developing in some of the smaller districts(i.e.District 7, 2A D1)....
