The kid plays with more passion that anyone i have ever seen play the game. You do not find a player that puts defense first like this kid does. Bad attitude? One could say so. He needs to learn to stop talking to the refs... That is for sure. But he is very passionate about the game and winning. When you are 5'4 and 140 pounds (Guessing) you have to have a bit of cockiness and attitude towards the game.

that's tough to do with this group. I believe Silsbee has 10 kids that would start on any other team in their district. Sounds crazy but I really believe it.

I just don't see it this year. I don't think Ozen would beat Silsbee by 30. I don't think Silsbee would beat a JV team by only 4. I know this rivalry and I know how well HJ is coached... But I do not believe Silsbee will have its hands full until late Feb/Early March. Just my opinion. I've been wrong before and I have a lot of respect for the coaching staff in HJ. But Silsbee is really talented this year. More talented then any other year that I can remember.

We all appreciate the time and effort you put into this! I have listened 2 numerous games on here when I couldn't make them. Really is a great thing you do!

I do not think they would beat us every time. They are tough for sure but something was up with us that night. It was pitiful 2 watch. Plus, Little McCain was very uncomfortable on that knee. I still feel like he will be our leading scorer in district. His ability is scary good. No excuses for that night, they kicked our butt for sure! It will be a fun year for tiger fans

They look a little rusty but their defense is so aggressive! Adams looks so comfortable on the court as a freshman. Maybe because he played all summer with these kids on the 17U level. Oh, But AAU basketball does not matter LOL

Prayers for my boy Devon. Hope its minor! As for Silsbee, Shout out to coach Sigler for playing them in a tournament with real competition and making those boy better! Hate that Silsbee football lost last night, but now its basketball time! Time to prove yourself to all of the doubters! Lets go boys
