This conversation is getting a tad bit childish. Let's all act like adults guys.

To be a district MVP you should have had an undeniable impact as a game changer in dang near every district game. Ian very proud of our Kounte boy Grayland Arnold...he is no doubt a football player and a tremendous athlete, but against Kirbyville and EC he was a non-factor due to injury and therefore that leaves speculation and you can not legitimately pick a district MVP based on speculation. More simply put...what if's will not suffice.

Collegiate athletics is a very tough battlefield. This is terrible for Mississippi State's recruiting in Texas though. Texas HS football is a brotherhood of a different type. And coaches talk. Rest assured this will be in the back of the mind of every coach who deals with Miss. State recruiting their kids.

Oh I'm sure he will entertain me no matter where he plays. I keep up with all levels of college football around this area and know every team well, but particularly the closer university :) your son will succeed wherever he goes. I can tell there has been a great work ethic and sense of humility instilled in him from day one and that, quite frankly, is something you can't coach. And it will take him a long ways in his athletic career. But, again, good luck! I wish nothing but the best and I will be keeping up with him! Keep us updated!

Not surprised at all. Yoe is always a totally dominant team in the playoffs. Only difference is, they actually waited until the playoffs to start dominating this year. No biggie though. They're still Yoe.

Exactly! This was an awesome game to watch. An amazing effort by both squads! I'd put this rivalry up against any other one in the area!!

Woodville finishes up the season over .500! Finishing with a record of (6-4)(3-4). Warren finishes with a record of (1-9)(0-7).

This game was a freakin war from the opening kickoff! Both teams came out fired up and it stayed that way the entire 48 minutes! Stands were packed on both sides until the final whistle. I am honored to say I am part of such a great rivalry game!

Warren's record does not do justice to the amount of improvement they've made. They are a very good, young football team and will only get better. They run that Slot-T very well. And they have the fight of any team in the district! I expect them to compete much better next year!

Woodville completes the season with the first winning regular season record since 2012. Great opening season for Coach Waldie and this brand new stastaff and capped it off with a huge win in an amazing rivalry game! I expect Woodville to come back strong next year with another year to learn under this coaching staff! Great season Eagles. Now get to work for next year.

You can talk averages all you want, but I've seen all five teams. I know for a fact that the top four defenses are better than Anahuac. Woodville may be a little biased. I honestly thought Anahuac's offense was more efficient than their defense. They can move the ball. The problem was putting it in the end zone. Their defense gave up over 400 yards of offense to Woodville.

It's less than a 30-point loss. In that case than was what Kirbyville, Buna, and Kountze did to Woodville enough for me to lose respect for all three programs? Lol
