I was on Dallas against Detroit. This won't be favorable on this site, but I got the Texans in this game. There is no point explaining why.

Had a running game today. Things fall into place with that fact. Dak made some very very accurate throws today. Worst one I saw was the stupid play to Gathers for the short TD. Defense is playing well. Someone needs to cover Tate. Ill take any win in the NFL..

Good drive there.  That’s the sort of play calling they need for him to succeed.  More of a college style offense.  Of course, that style of offense usually doesn’t work to long in the NFL.

I really don't know how to feel about the game.  I usually say the offense will be good, we just need the defense to step up.  Throughout the preseason games I have felt the opposite.  I'm a little worried about the safety position, with Xavier Woods out and Kavon Frazier banged up, but the defense should be an exciting bunch.  Hopefully the COWBOYS will open the season on a good note. 

Good win for Center. Should move  up in rankings.

I mean I get the football guys have only been playing for a couple weeks. But the best players on the team have been playing since the season started. I also agree that there is no excuse. Center won and should be considered a favorite to win it all.

The deception in these two final scores against Center from both teams is, Carthage had us at their mercy. Center may have gotten one first down in the 35-0 beat down we received in the first half. But Surratt being the class act that he is let up and put a lot of his jv in the game in second half. The Bulldogs could've easily put 80+ on the board if not for that. And then, and only then were we able to move the ball and still only manage to score a measly 12 points. Now against Silsbee, they are no doubt a good team, or they wouldn't still be playing in December. They're just not a great team. I think if Silsbee fans were honest, they know it. When playing Center, Silsbee was up only by 10 at the end of the 3rd before the Tigers started to pull away in the 4th. Which I could tell after that last Silsbee TD it took the air out of our sail. There is no doubt in my mind that Carthage will win this game. All I can suggest to all you Tiger fans is to sit back and enjoy watching the greatest team that has ever came through the Carthage Bulldog football program, at least that's what coach Surratt said. Safe travels to both teams.

After watching film on Center this should be one of the more entertaining games of the playoffs. Both teams have played some stiff competition on their schedule and are battle tested for the playoffs. Both teams have receivers that can get open and can run. Both teams have young running backs that have come into their own as the season progressed. Both teams have first year QBs that can pass the ball and don't mind running when their number is called. Also, both teams special teams have several TDs. The key to the game to me (jmo) is Silsbee's defense looks to match up better with Centers offense than Centers defense matches up with Silsbee's offense and Silsbee over all team speed. I'm not saying Center hasn't faced better teams than us because they have.  Don't get me wrong, points will be scored as both offenses have proven that they can score at any point on the field. Call me a homer or what you will, say I'm old fashion and over the hill, but my pick is Silsbee in what I think will be a good game 38-28 over Center. As I've said before when these two districts meet up in the playoffs the outcome of the game should not surprise you. TigerNation!!!

They've scored on the 1st play a number of times, as well as 1st & 2nd possessions.  An interesting note is that in 2011, they scored on the 1st or 2nd play of every playoff game. It took 4 plays in the game at Jerry's World. 3 passes, 1 run!
 

I'll say the Tigers start off with 3 touchdowns on each first play of their first three possession.

Colmesneil will be ready for this game. They cancelled 3 powderpuff teams before season to put 3 powerhouse teams on schedule to prepare them just for this moment. Will be a close game till kickoff. Tenaha will only win by 80.
