  1. very good.........do you document all of your days like that? ??? ;D ;D
  2. that would not be a bad 5A district......then it would only be between NS and WB for the district crown.....haha!
  3. GOOD LAWD, scooter! let's hope we dont end up in that district.....it would be a fight for third place in that district as Lufkin and Westfield would be the frontrunners, and Spring, Humble and WB would be fighting for the other two spots! WHEW!
  4. I'm guessing 21-5A would look something like this: West Brook, PA Memorial, One Baytown school(getting a new HS and numbers are sure to drop), I think we lose Channelview back to 4A.....as far as the other schools go, I have no idea. It wouldn't suprise me to see us getting North Shore again, and losing the two Humble schools. That UIL bunch is funny, you never know what they're gonna do. I think we'll be in a six team district again, instead of eight!
  5. ......here's West Brook pulling for you to go all the way! Go Bronco's
  6. Stowers possibly jumping ship over at Central????? It's always tough to try and start a program from scratch, just ask the Atascocita HC Dean Clobert......it wasn't as easy as he thought!
  7. Permian didn't just lose, they got whipped 38-14. This was not a good day for the state's powerhouse teams........Permian lost, as well as Southlake Carroll and Spring Westfield, who lost to Plano 31-19. Just goes to show you that anything can happen in the playoffs!
  8. ........well, this just goes to show you that if WB hadn't eased off of Clements and actually won the game last week, it could be us playing Katy in the Quarterfinals. I bet you our coaches wont allow the team to get relaxed again until the final whistle blows! Good Luck next year Bruins......it could (should)have been us there!
  9. .....maybe you folks from Lumberton could give some of these "dead-beat" fans from Beaumont some pointers on how to properly support a local HS football team i.e. West Brook fans! >
  10. ......that's still a very impressive run, any way you look at it!
  11. Your HC is not going anywhere, just yet! He'll have at least one more year!
  12. SV beat Katy in 2002 24-20, and Katy beat SV in 2005 17-14! Should be a good game, but I believe Katy will win!
  13. possibly.....I think it would be wise to maybe put him in at a CB or Safety position to see what his size and speed could do! We could use another weapon to help out our pass defense!
  14. Region 4 hasn't produced anything that could beat Katy in a long time! I think they'll be gone next week! ;D
  15. I believe Stump will find another position where Cooper (#26) can contribute besides RB!
  16. Good LAWD!........ this is definitely a wierd one! Well, that just about guarantees that Katy will win division 2. Good Luck to Abeliene the rest of the way. ???
  17. Don't know about anybody else, but West Brook is going to be the team to beat next year! Eight returning starters on offense, and five or six defensive statrers returning from a 10-2 team that averaged about 40 PPG and 19 PAPG! The freshman team was very good this year and I'm sure will make their presense felt on next year's team, also! West Brook will only get better in the years to come!
  18. Congratulations on a fine season Lumberton! I had the great pleasure of attending this game and sitting among some great fans that have supported you all the way. It truely was a sight to see. You guys had a great season, but the better team won last night. Their offensive and defensive lines had so much size over you, that it made it hard to get anything going. But I can proudly say that you never gave up, never quit and played until the end. You were acyually able to play their game in the second half after some good halftime adjustments, but it was hard to overcome a 4 TD defecit. You should hold your heads high on your great season. Hey, 11-2 is nothing to be ashamed of.....some teams would kill to have had that kind of season record. Good Luck next year Raiders!
  19. All I can say is....WOW! I was totally impressed with the fan support that showed up at Deer Park Stadium for the game. Lumberton came out in droves and that was a really neat sight to see. We couldn't have gotten that kind of support for a West Brook game if we taped five dollar bills to the seats. Our fan support SUCKS! Hold your heads high and be proud Lumberton, you and your fans have had a great season! ;D
  20. Congrats on your big win Dayton! After seeing Waller play last night against Lumberton, let me just say that you guys should have no problem with them. They've got a QB that is very versatile and can run(very well) as well as throw(very well). Their defense was lights out against the L-Train. From what I hear, you guys are playing the best football of the year right now. I just dont think they're gonna be able to stop your offense......but, ya'll are gonna have to shut down their QB as he is the key to their offense. Good Luck in the Regional Finals, Dayton! Represent our area well!
  21. Congratulations guys on all your success! You definitely made a believer out of me! ;D
  22. Can you believe the Bruins had 11 players on the first team!!! Awesome! As quiet as it's kept, it looks like WB will have at least eight returning starters on offense, and five or six starters returning on defense for next year. How long till preseason starts? ;D BRUINS GOING TO STATE IN '08!
  23. ......well, since our wonderful newspaper, The Beaumont Suprise, doesn't seem to want to print the All District team for our area, I had to go to the Baytown Sun to get this. Thought ya'll might like to know how our Bruins represented the district this year. ;D [Hidden Content]
  24. You can add me to the list.......This Friday's game will be my first. I cant wait! Go Raiders!
  25. I'm fine talking about Lumberton Football and all the hooplah that goes with it......since WB lost last weekend (gulp) :'(, it's the only thing remotely interesting to talk about. By the way, can I officially adopt Lumberton for the rest of the season? .........Question, where are we all gonna sit on Friday night? From what I remember, DP's stadium is about the same size as Zaharius stadium (it's been since like 1992 since I've been there-they were in 22-5A at one time).
