82 5A State Champs

INT Katy....their third of the game! Madison is just coming apart. Katy's third string offense is in the game with 8 mins left in the game!

Katy's second string RB, Zavalla, is as good as most other team's first string RB. BoLevi Mitchell has been pulled from the game at QB and his substitute is in there.........driving, to the five.........TD Katy! Making a statement! Katy is a MACHINE! 63-14 Katy!

........so its Pflugerville losing to Katy in the Div II State Title game? I say that jokingly, but the sad thing, is that's probably what's going to happen!

1st quarter....Judson leads NS 14-0!

Kickoff punt return Joey Fuda.......Katy TD! 56-14!

post updates here!

I'm logging off now, as there's nothing else to listen to. Katy is gonna win! Now, who will they play in the Finals? ???

Another TD for Dean.....his third of the game! 49-14 Katy......making it look easy! DOMINANCE!!!!

Dean TD........42-14 Katy! Now the second team will take over, and they will prolly be able to keep the Mavericks out of the end zone! Man, Katy just makes it look so easy!

......now all that has to be determined is who else does Katy have to beat to win another title!

Another TD for Katy........35-14 in the third! GAME OVER!

this is definitely Katy's game to lose!

not only do they beat you, but they kick you while you're down. :39 seconds left in the half, up 21-14, Katy goes for it and scores to go up by two scores. Very aggressive playcalling!

ANOTHER TD Katy.....28-14 right before the half!

Listening to the game is one thing.....I'd love to be watching this game on TV! ;D

PN G lost to Stephenville in the 1999 State Title game!

TD Dean....21-14 Katy!

MItchell is seeing pressure from the Madison defense that he hasn't seen this year! First down Katy!

Congrats on a great season Dayton, you guys definitely went above and beyond your expectations this year! Be proud of your season as you represented SE Texas very well!

while losing the game must have been tough for that kid, it says something about a team and their tradition that a Pro QB for the Cowboys thought enough of him to call him and tell him that 'everything's gonna be OK!' Neat story. Romo is a stand up guy! ;D

17 mins for Dayton? uh oh, Broncos are in trouble!

.....any idea what that 4A district might look like?

correction....the final was Katy 42 Clements 0. This is still, bar none, the best team the Tigers have ever had. I'm glad we didn't have to play them. From what I heard, some of the Clements players were talking trash to the Tiger sidelines before and during the game.....not a good move! This just fueled Katy to post a shutout. They used EIGHT different RB's in the win, and their defense was stellar. I wonder if their DC could be hired to run the Bruin defense next year????For us to win another State Championship, we're gonna have to get ALOT better on the defensive side of the ball.

Katy 56 Clements 0......yesssssssssssssss! ;D Katy was apparently all business tonight! So long Rangers! Suckers!!!! hahahahahaha ! Katy will roll through SA Madison in the semi's and probably play Abilene in the Finals, and will take care of them with ease to win their first State Title since 2003! Mark my word! Katy is for REAL!

Katy will be facing SA Madison.......who knocked off Smithson Valley 38-35! This will be the second "Madison" named team for Katy this postseason!
