82 5A State Champs

With 12 players from the Brook on the first team, there are five that will return for next year. Of the five players that made the second team, four of them will return for next year. That's a total of NINE players from the All-District team that will return for the 2008 season. Hopefully West Brook will have enough to make a serious run at a another State Title!

West Brook is going to be TOUGH next year........there will be at least eight returning STARTERS on offense that will return. There is one very good wide receiver, who did not play this season, that will also make his return next year for a total of nine. Also, the Bruins will return five STARTERS on the defensive side of the ball. I'm also told that there may be some changes made in the offseason to try to put a defense on the field that will be just as dominating as their offensive counterparts. Either way, look out for the Brook next year! We should be a very dominant team!

Good Luck to Pflugerville next weekend in the Finals. They may be good, but they wont stop "THE MACHINE", in Katy.....they have been too dominating in the playoffs for them to lose to anyone! They WILL win another State Championship next Saturday......mark my word!

Katy's second string RB, Zavalla, is as good as most other team's first string RB. BoLevi Mitchell has been pulled from the game at QB and his substitute is in there.........driving, to the five.........TD Katy! Making a statement! Katy is a MACHINE! 63-14 Katy!

........so its Pflugerville losing to Katy in the Div II State Title game? I say that jokingly, but the sad thing, is that's probably what's going to happen!

Another TD for Dean.....his third of the game! 49-14 Katy......making it look easy! DOMINANCE!!!!

Dean TD........42-14 Katy! Now the second team will take over, and they will prolly be able to keep the Mavericks out of the end zone! Man, Katy just makes it look so easy!

......now all that has to be determined is who else does Katy have to beat to win another title!

not only do they beat you, but they kick you while you're down. :39 seconds left in the half, up 21-14, Katy goes for it and scores to go up by two scores. Very aggressive playcalling!
