2. seemed like a great guy and all around caring person. He will be missed. :'(
3. Thanks for taking care of that guys! Comments like that are definitely uncalled for and inappropriate. Great info, there WBbear!
4. yea, give the guy a break. lol (down on my knees, praying) PLEASE, forgive me? ;D
5. He PM'd me.....I understand a little more now. I've added him back to 'My Favorites' ;D Good Luck next season, Chris...and keep up the good work! Sorry I was so harsh, but welcome back! ;D
6. Great job Bruins......way to represent on the hardwood!
7. WOW....looks like the Brook could run the gauntlet on the rest of the district season........maybe District Champs? 8)
8. Blake Chavis (LB) from West Brook will be joining his brother Billy, at Texas A&M.
9.

Sorry, I know I'm about to make some people mad. But, this is ridiculous 4 teams in each district making the playoffs. What is this? Watered down the playoffs with bad teams. There will be several teams with losing records in the PLAYOFFS. Call me old fashion but until my senior year only one team made the playoffs. They should have kept it at two IMO.
Just think of the teams from the Beumont area that could have made the playoffs in the 70's if there were more than one team going.  I agree, four teams is WAY to many.
The UIL is following the lead of our President in their "NO team left behind" program. They figured it worked in 5A, why not implement it in 4A as well. I agree, there are too many sub-par teams playing after week 10 with this system. Look at 21-5A for crying out loud. Kingwood was the fourth place team, and made the playoffs with a 3-6 record. I mean, come on.....when is enough, enough?
10. He, once again, will be part of a dynamic running duo as he will have Jordan Garrett in the backfield with him. Bruins gonna take them Jags out!
Please.  Garrett and Willams arn't on the same level.  We all know that.  Wake up from that bump you took to the head, my friend.  You'll be ok!   ;D ;D
Go ahead, goofy ;)....keep doubting Jordan Garrett's abilities. Oh that's right, the game you saw was a WB loss in the playoffs. You didn't get to see him at his best. In the words of Apollo Creed, "some folks got to learn, The HARD WAY". You will have a front row seat to see #4 and #33 run WILD on those Jags in September! ;) :D
11. Once again, Great stuff WOS87. I saw this posted over on 5ATexasFootball.com also. Those cats on that site dont know what to think of you and all of your information. I'm glad that we had you first! ;D
12. Duncanville is a program that had some history by making deep playoff runs a few years back. They have been relatively quiet as of late. Maybe this is just the shot in the arm they need. Good Luck to Coach Dicus on his new challenge of bringing D-ville back to form.
13. My predictions would be the following: 1) Dayton 2) Nederland 3) PN-G 4) Central (I got ya back, Soulja)
14. Dont forget that we still have Christine Michael in the backfield. He, once again, will be part of a dynamic running duo as he will have Jordan Garrett in the backfield with him. Bruins gonna take them Jags out!
15. they are obviously going after a group of kids that are most likely the ones that are using. But I agree with you in that they should test for 'recreational drugs' as well as performance enhancing drugs.
16. What makes you say that? Do you know something that I dont?
17. Hey Soulja, since they're allowing four teams in the playoffs, do you think Central might get in? ;D
18. Bruins still have to play PA Memorial and Humble. At 4-1 in district play so far, I say there's a good chance they'll make the playoffs. Good Luck Bruins. Donte Lopez......save a little bit of yourself for football season next year!
19. Albert should have no problem landing a scholarship offer from a premier college. His work ethic and his athletic ability speak for themselves. His future impact on the Bruin track team will also speak volumes regarding his recovery. All of us here at SETX.com wish Albert the best of luck at the next level.
20. "The test does not look for recreational drugs." So, basically what this means is that a student cant take a performance-enhancing drug (i.e., HGH or anabolic steroids), but said student can smoke all the marijuana he wants, test positive for a controlled substance, and it wont have an impact on whether or not he plays sports, as long as it's not steroids. Am I missing something here? IMO, if a student athlete tests positive for ANY controlled substance, from pot to meth to steroids, he should be banned from UIL events. Period. End of story.
21. talk, talk, talk, talk.........youre gonna have to do better than that! Come on, 'hit me with your best shot'. But you know, some folks got to learn...the HARD WAY! We'll see come next September, wont we! ;D
22. Mr. Roy......welcome to 5A football, son! ;D You had better just prepare yourself!
23. LMAO .....I think I was at that game!!!
