I am guessing that the WOS coach is not updating their full schedule and results. Surely they have played more than 7 games at this point. Someone probably needs to reach out to the coach to ask them why they are not updating this.

Interesting they dont seem to factor in head to head results. Friendswood just beat Fulshear as well.

No but @BBfan061 is from the setx area but now has relatives that play for this coach and follows that team. He has kind of kick started the volleyball forum back to life so all good if he wants to give his coach some props. I am sure its a state record.

This is Coach Toomer getting it done right here. Replaced a defensive coordinator last year that shouldn’t have ever been in that role and was not a leader or role model. Got an offensive coordinator that plays up to the strengths of the players he has. The Northbrook win was not all that impressive , seemed like Brazoswood was struggling a bit from last week as well. Either way, Congrats to them! On to Barbers Hill now. If they get that victory…look out, they may go from being picked next to last to being in the playoffs. Next week will tell me how good they really are. They play “The Hill” close or perhaps get that victory , that entire district goes on notice, and no team can overlook the rangers on the schedule then….But we are a week away from knowing if they are truly for real. Interesting. Toomer has been awful for years though, he should have been fired already. Who hired the DC last year? What is his overall record?

Agreed their record doesn't look great but they have had some flashes of great play and the team has a lot of potential, just got to put it all together. Don't forget they start a freshman, a sophmore, 3 juniors and one senior. Not making excuses for them, if they want any hope of advancing in the playoffs they are going to have to gel and become more consistent VERY soon!
There is a red bracket that the likes of Friendswood, Deer Park, Flower Mound and Grapevine are in and then there is the blue bracket that Tarkington and BC were in. I'm guessing there was reason why they were split up?

Deer Park goes 2-1 losing to Grapevine in 3
Tarkington in a lower level bracket goes 0-2. 7-8 on the year?

TVI might have the order a little mixed up but as a group these are definitely most of the best teams in the state. Seems like Foster should be on there. Even without Foster, BH has wins over 3 of these teams.

I am curious why do you think Coach McDaniel is a dang good coach. There was some at Nederland that were not upset that she left. I am wondering in your opinion what makes her a great coach? Pretty sure she inherited a JV and freshman team that went undefeated last year which I assume most of those girls have moved up to varsity?

@FortheloveofthegameUpdate the sets then, I hear ya. The coach should update it but if they don't help he girls get the respect they deserve by reporting atleast W/Ls. I always wondered why the rest of the state updates but SETX doesn't. It seems like lack of education on expectations or maybe its that volleyball just isn't that big a deal in that part of the state which ties back to the lack of big time club volleyball in the area.

Crosby definitely has the advantage in the parent analysis column. Not sure how that shakes out in the W/L column though. Coach Willis should give you a headset 14.2
