I watched Silsbee last night and here is there size that starts D. MCCAIN 6'4 Willie Jones 6'5 Jordyn Adams 6'3 T. Harris 6'3 Kaylon Barnes 6'2 They are very long and all are super athletic. WC had a 6'8 and 6'7 that started and Silsbee worked them over on the boards.

Not sure if they are better yet but they could be. Older Bush was 1st team all state and Jones was all district 1st team in football, basketball, and baseball.

Yes Jones is about 6'5 and handles the ball very very well. He can finish at the rim with the best of them. He was taking the 6'8 post to the hole off the dribble all game. Also, Barnes player a heck of a game on the boards. Really impressed with his free throw shooting as well. As a team, Silsbee seems to be shooting free throws better. Look forward to their match up vs Central Tuesday night.

Adams was on fire tonight. Willie Jones III and Kaylon Barnes along with Mike McCain will be a force down low. Jones is more athletic than I thought.

Let me say this, #10 and #4 for Westbury could flat out ball. #4 had a big dunk to tie the game up but Silsbee seems to be shooting better from the free throw line. Also, I don't like the fact that a Silsbee player ran up and put his hand in the face of a Westbury player after the game. Very poor sportsmanship on our part.

I'm in the building. These teams playing aren't that good.

Most of the rumbling in Silsbee comes from this site or non decision makers in the stands who feel they can coach. I for one wasn't a fan at first of Randy Smith but he seems to be doing some positive things in the program. It hard to compete vs the best in the area when you run a new offense and defense isn't that good. 6-5 wasn't the record I expected but I could see them going 4 rounds next season.

WOS won't see a back that good the rest of the year. They were the only ones to hold him to less than 150 yards. I'm 4A, hands down WOS has the best defense. I hope you guys repeat as state Champs and represent SETX with nothing but class!
