I think Silsbee could be that good. Wagner is ranked that high for nothing. It's not like those bad Vype rankings where they had Jasper and Huffman ranked over Beaumont Central.

Why would the people who run the tourney match Silsbee vs Wagner in the 1st round? This seem s'more like a day 2 or 3 match up. I think they want that Lil o 4A team out early!

Wagner is #1 in 6A for a reason. They have guards that will break that press with ease. In order for Silsbee to win, they will need to speed the game up and rebound. Having a 6'9 post down low won't make it easy. Box him out and force him to go over the back.

I don't see Silsbee winning this game due to the post play and guard play Wagner has. Here is my prediction. SA Wagner 79 Silsbee 65

Thompson is very good from about 10 feet on in. He doesn't have great jumping ability but he does play strong down low. I think he just moved back this season.
