I read that WWE Superstar/Silsbee Alum Mark Henry will be in Silsbee tonight at the Boys & Girls Club. Joining Mark will be 2005 NCAA National Champion/2x NFL Pro Bowler Vince Young! Should be pretty nice to see these guys in Silsbee.

I went to Silsbee about 4 months ago. Not much has changed. Still same small town. Need more business to move it to help the town grow. Lumberton is growing up!!!!

I think it has been getting better through the season. Huffman was pass heavy and we did well vs them. I really hope can just put pressure on the QB and force a few turnovers at best. I think Bruce Newton had 6 ints on the season. We could use a few Friday night for show and need to slow their run Gane down.

I have noticed over the years that when it comes to voting for all state teams (mainly Associated Press), they seem to miss a lot of SETX talent. Does anyone in the local media vote for the AP Allstars Teams?

Enjoylife, Silsbee has a very strong ground game with two backs that are dynamic. One has 2500 yards on season and the other rushed for 1500 as a soph. Last season but Playa defense and rb this year. We have a D1 WR who runs a 4.31 40 yards dash and a QB who isn't too bad either. We are a true ground team but can also throw when we need too. Silsbee has speed speed speed everywhere. Defense is average at best but have been playing better.

Silsbee needs to tighten up the middle of their defense. I think McCain and Thomas can contain the outside. Need to stop teams from killing us up the gut. Make Ingram run outside!

Silsbee defense is what concerns me the most. We must tackle well and somehow control the line of scrimmage.
