I saw some highlights of Willie Jones III ballin at Legacy. I think he will be a bug asset to Silsbee since Mackey left. He should start at post.

Liberty is 8-0 which is great but they haven't played anyone all that great. No team they have played has a winning record and it's about to get real playing WOS. They best team they beat was Orangefield maybe?

Silsbee will have a lot of outside noise this year from fans and media. Do you think this get a to their head or can they finally turn the corner and win a title? We have never been to state in back to back years and only made it to the title game once. Fans are already making plans to head back to San Antonio. Hopefully the players don't get cocky and they really put the foot to the pedal and bring a title on home. Seems like Yates, Wheatley, and Huffman could be strong as well.

Kaylon was the fastest in district I. The 100m and would have went to state as a sophomore but had a false start. I'm sure both of them can fly down the field. Can't wait to see them both.

Who is the fastest man in the district at BC?

I can remember the 2010 BC vs Silsbee game at Silsbee where BC beat us and in BC in 2011 they beat us. Bridge City has always had some talented football teams and always gives Silsbee fits. It usually takes Silsbee a drive or so to figure out the wing T since we don't see it very much. BC does had a very good QB as well. Silsbee defense needs to step up. Silsbee only has one win vs a winning program this year. Should be a big test!!
