I know and that hurts our offense. If we can complete at least 8-10 passes a game that will keep 8-9 out the box. Having Barnes and Lowe as a treat and completing better passes will help us advance in the playoffs

I get 100% what your saying and boldly agree. I think change is hard to accept sometimes but must happen. Silsbee should end the season before playoffs at 6-4 and district runner up. I'd like to see us make a long run this year. I think if we go 3 round deep, Tyler might hit 3,000. I want to see us continue to work Lowe and Barnes in more. Speed kills. Also, Adonis looked great running last night as well. Is Michael McCain ol? Will he be back next week?

I'm not praying just giving credit where it's due. Silsbee has a fantastic team but so far this year we haven't beat a winning program but Jasper. We will need to play our best ball in the playoffs. Carthage is always a challenge even as a 2nd or 3rd place team.

What Tyler has done is incredible but I'd like to give a shout out to the Offensive Line and WRs for blocking for him. Also, solid calls by the coaching staff. I would like to see Silsbee go 3-4 rounds deep at least. Gone be hard opening up vs a team we haven't beat in a long time.

Seems like we will be matching up vs Carthage 1st round. Oh boy!!!! Need Jones to show his Randall Cunningham side in the playoffs.

Sounded like Kaylon Barnes had a nice game. I think he had 2 TD catches and like 5 or 6 receptions. Did he have over 100 yards rec?

Calvin has had a fantastic season running the ball. Silsbee has had plenty of 1000 rushing QBS and RBS but no 2000 yard backs. Here are list of some of 1000 yard backs I remember Tony Dill, Ricky Price, Poohie Arline, Adrian Arline, Jay McGuire, Quincy Kelly, Mark Farr, William Harper, Barnes 2009, Jeremy Johnson, Patrick Reed, Adonis Thomas, and Dontre Thomas. I'm sure I missed a few but this was right off the dome.

I remember Detrice Spearman had 1650 yards and 22 tds back in 1996.

I think the top two names on the list a Poochie Arline with 2100 yards and Jay McGuire with 1976. It seems Calvin Tyler jr. could be well on his way of shattering both of these records over the next few games and the playoffs. If Silsbee can advance 3-4 rounds, I could see Tyler getting close to or over 2500 yards on the season.
