BH would be favored even if the Indians were healthy. It doesn’t mean they will win for sure, but they are the better team in my opinion.

I’ve been thinking about this game tonight and I have made my decision...

If this game had been played week 1, I would have picked the Dogs because they looked really good in the scrimmages.

If this game would have been played 3 weeks ago, I would have picked the Pirates because Ned stumbled in pre-district and then played horribly against BH while the Pirates started with a bang in Crosby.

The game is this week though and the Pirates have only scored 27 points in the last 3 weeks. I think Ned will score enough to win this game. Should be a battle, but give me the Dogs to start living up to their potential! Dogs win a tight one. Much respect to Vidor as usual.

Teams seem like they may be slightly trending in opposite directions. I’m just hoping the Dogs can keep improving each week.

Caveats: (1) I don’t know that they’ve been challenged much since week 1, which allows you to hide weaknesses and, even if the weaknesses aren’t there, can affect you mentally. Also, Bh has the best home side in the area, with nice fold out seats (I know the game is in Vidor, just saying the Bh stadium was a good place to visit), and the BH band sounds amazing. Good luck to both sides. Is this Vidor homecoming?

We will have our hands full with the QB and we better wrap up. If we don’t, we might be starting to air up the basketballs. I keep thinking I’m going to go to a game where it all clicks for what I still say is a talented roster, but it just hasn’t happened. Too many mental mistakes, penalties, missed assignments, and missed tackles thus far.

I’m a Nederland fan. Kid really impressed me. He’s a gamer. Yes, I have seen Bost. Yes, I have seen Lee’s QB. I’d pick him over both.

Why are we kicking a FG when it’s 27-0?! We go for it on our side of the 50 twice. How does a FG help?! Oh it doesn’t. Costs us 7. 

The Hill is for Real. But, we are a bad football team right now. Our offensive line is a mess and our tackling is awful.
