Friday the 13 is my excuse. The worst game I seen AP play in long time .

Going with Anahuac. Give the ball to #5 for Anahuac.  The player was carrying bobcats on his back and still running with good speed. The passing touchdown he caught in the end zone as well. Guy is a special talent.  That’s #5 coach, lol. 

We crowning Kirbyville with them district championship already ? Anahuac and Orangefield ain’t going to be easy win I can tell you that . We ain’t Buna

I would hope that they get #5 involved in the WHOLE game. If that’s the case, I would say AP will be hard to stop. Any pass to him inside the 20 is an automatic TD. That would open it up for #24 RB & QB to run more. 

It was a sloppy game all around on both sides. 
I don’t understand why #5 didn’t get the ball much. Each time he got it it was dangerous for the Bobcats. One TD he literally carried 3 Bobcats into the endzone & broke about 3 tackles. 
 
i have to agree that the line Judge on Orangefield side called 2 terrible “Targeting” penalties on each team. No way was those two targeting. It was helmet to helmet but both weren’t with the Crown of the helmet.  But they may have changed the rules. 
 
There were lots of mouthing on both sides. 
 
good win & I’ll be interested in seeing AP and O play Kirbyville. It could be a 3 way tie. 

They are well coached team . They found weak a link in defense and exploited it . But the refs bailed them out I know on 3 different calls

If so, I am surprised they just dropped out of the Rice Bowl. Seems they would want to play, correct?  
In any case I was talking medium to longer term. I have no idea who is coming up in the next 1-3 years for them. Winnie is changing, futbol will benefit. Zero doubt about that. 
On a related matter, Chambers Co. just voted to build a massive jail and Justice Center (Courts) in Anahuac. Look for Anahuac's population to further accelerate.

Anahuac gave the top team all they wanted and then some for a half. Good job, build on that, Anahuac's future looks bright!   

By the sound of it might aswell just give Franklin the state trophy ain’t no sense playing. 

I’m taking Panthers for the upset.  Nice clear night. The ball will be spinning.  OF was a game Anahuac needed for the future and that means for this match up.  Plus a Thursday night game. I believe that benefits Anahuac too.   It’s upset time for the Lions. 5 is feeling it and primed and ready to go.  Hope that D is too

Folks in Buna cheering you guys on go represent District 10. Will be a tough game but its playoff football show them how these SETX boys do it!

Normally I would have zero hope for an upset but this AP team is just built different. They are healthy and have played well against ranked teams this year.  It’s all on the defense, their offense will keep up as always. They have to make some stops. AP will be ready, this isn’t the only opponent they have faced who run that kind of offense. Orangefield does the same thing and AP lost to them this year. It was a strange game tbh, corbitt didn’t play and their offense was one dimensional - kept airing it deep with no ability to do play action. Didn’t try any mid level passes really, that loss was on the coaching not the players that game. 
 
I think they will be ready. 

We are the under dog . If Anahauc don’t turn the ball over I think we have chance . We have balanced offense that can score in the air and on the ground . Go Panthers
