The difference is they are not breaking the law in most cases. Taking advantage of the tax code is legal. I do not agree with it and I think the whole tax code needs to go in the garbage but that is a different discussion.

Condolences to you and your family on the passing of your dad. There is alot we can disagree on but watching your parents, spouse, kids anyone you are close to suffer through these diseases just sucks.

I think this is way overdue. My mom has dementia and it is horrible to watch. 
I like the cap on the infrastructure spending at 5%. Let the money get to where it needs to be, not in CEO's and politicians bank accounts.

We want to stop the woman that is paying for groceries with food stamps then in a second purchase buy ribeyes, bottles of wine and cases of beer with a roll of money in their Louis Vuitton purse. She will have a $200 hairdo and $150 worth of nails done. Roll it all outside and unload it into a $75K vehicle. She does not need food stamps. It is pulling money away from those that need the assistance.

Sometimes it is better without insurance. I had an MRI 2 weeks ago. They called to tell me with my insurance the cost was $1738 out of pocket (I have a high deductible plan). I asked what it costs with no insurance...........$235. I told them I accept the $235 cost. 
So sometimes insurance isn't your friend

@AggiesAreWe - If I thought for a minute this bill would deprive anyone with TRUE disabilities of benefits, I would be totally against this bill. Until it is proven different, I'm taking them at their word it is for waste, fraud and abuse. 
On a similar topic ( @Big girl listen close) - In my younger days I worked in EMS for 8 years, then after that I ran 2 different rent to own companies.
In EMS, the "sick calls" when people call ambulances to claim they are sick (or may have a cold) to basically get a taxi ride across town was almost daily. 99.9% had no insurance. It was a loss for the ambulance company and hospital. If they had Medicaid, they were using an expensive emergency room for what could of been a Doctor visit at far less money.  Hospitals do not turn sick people away like some of  the left want you to believe. 
Rent to own - I worked for Rent A Center (hated that place btw) - 75-80% of our customers were on SSI or some type of government housing.  They spent a significant amount of their money on Big Screen TV's and furniture. Some would furnish their entire section 8 apartment with rental furniture. I remember some paying 75-100 a week back in 1990.....$400 a month back then would of financed a Corvette.... Yet they needed housing assistance/food stamps??  Also, we were in the same parking lot as the food stamp office. There would be 100's of people selling their food stamps for 50 cents on the dollar.... That was back when there was no internet or ways to electronically scam the government.......Can you imagine now?
So, I am for cutting waste, fraud and abuse........

Have any of y'all been to Augusta National? If so, what really stood out about your walk around the course that maybe you don't get watching on TV?
For me it was Hole #10. We stood behind the tee box and watched 2 groups tee off and you can tell there is an elevation drop. We wondered to a few different spots then ended up at #10 green. We looked back at the tee box and it looked like we were looking up a mountain. Elevation changes at that course are more severe than the tv shows. Also, concession prices. One place that could get away with charging crazy amounts and they don't.

I work on the drilling side for 17 years. We are already drilling rigs.  Had 12 going and will finish may to June with 5 left. And the plan is to hold tight for the remainder of the year and see what after the 1st quarter of next year brings. Yea the policies are great to lower oil prices but no company is going to drill more unless they make more. There are plenty of wells already producing that they can slow up or speed up depending on what the prices are today. I’m a hard core conservative but working in the oil industry for this long I have seen a difference in the oil industry when republicans versus democrats are in office. When democrats are In office they scare everyone and oil prices get higher so we drill more. Seems like when a republican gets office gas prices come down but the drilling stops as well. Really about $75-$77 a barrel is the sweet spot to continue drilling and not over price things.

I am betting it can baddog........everytime I say this takes the cake they go and add more stupid to the batter and remake the cake.
