  1. Agreed, I just wish Sultis had not been so short sighted years ago.
  2. I am not downing REL in any way. Like I said, I went there, my parents went there. I guess my point was they had a golden opportunity years ago and did not take advantage of it.
  3. That is what should have been done when they built GCM. BUT there were too many folks that still felt they had to have Lee high school. I went to Lee and loved my time there but if Baytown would have done a freshman, soph. school and a jr/sr school like a lot of people wanted they could be competitive across the board. The superintendent at the time (Sultis) squashed this. I loved her dad (Mr. Pete) but her not so much. Now they have 3 schools that just can't compete and it is sad.
  4. At least 10 from the disruptive party have some integrity. Al Green is a total buffoon tho.
  5. And they vote and reproduce.
  6. They just can't help themselves. [Hidden Content]
  7. By and large most presidential addresses I have watched no matter what side the President was from all congress people were generally cordial. There are outliers from both camps but MTG acting a fool at one of Biden's addresses is not equivalent to what went on last night. What the world saw yesterday was an entire group that could not show an ounce of humility when a 13 year old boy that has survived brain cancer is introduced and given an honorary membership. Pelosi could not stop grinding her gums and wondering where her next drink was. To be clear, I am not outraged, I could really care less because every time these petulant little kids (liberal congress people) throw their tantrums more voters are pushed to our side. With midterms in the not so distant future, I hope Al Green does more Al Green stuff and the women in pink that support boys in girls sports keep pushing their transgender ideology. The grown-ups in the room will continue negotiating an end to the Ukrainian War, working on bolstering the economy, uncovering the money laundering and misuse of taxpayer money .
  8. I believe their (Dems) biggest issues lies with their leadership. No one will ever convince me that Schumer, Jeffries, Pelosi put the mandate down that no one will applaud, stand, do anything to cast any positive light on Trump or you will be cast out. Al Green is probably having parties thrown for him today in the Dem circles.
  9. It's the kind of things that can happen when the grown ups are in charge. The democrats proved that there are no grown ups in their group last night.
  10. I get that. I have a few folks on Facebook that are libs and all they can do is talk negative about Trump. They have no solutions, no input at all. Just the same ol Trump is a nazi, serial rapist blah blah blah. I truly thought the last election would make them step back and say 'maybe we need to rethink our strategy. Maybe trans kid surgeries and letting boys play in girls sports is not the hill to die on.' But they seem to have doubled down and dug in on all of the social issues and everyday citizens are saying that is not the issues we need resolved.
  11. These heartless, gutless libs won't stand for a child with cancer
  12. Al Green is a useless individual. An embarrassment to Texas.
  13. I am glad they aren't changing but I seriously did think they would rethink their pushing the social issues so much. But hey, keep it up libs
  14. Liberalism is a mental disorder........just like gender dysphoria
  15. They don't care, it is all agenda driven.
  16. Looks like Mr. Trump may have known exactly what he was doing [Hidden Content]
  17. Good, although I hope it is ok with CardinalBacker if I look them over. Apparently I am quite the fool for supporting Trump.
  18. And your student loans
  19. The only time any liberal wanted to deport was when they ended up on Martha's Vineyard......they jumped to that in record time.
  20. Yeah, I do not get this.......people are laid off everyday in this country. I hate it but some tough decisions have to be made. Everyone agrees that we cannot continue down this spending highway but then gripe at every cut that is made or proposed.
  21. We are also taught to be wise with our money. I believe in charity and helping out but it gets tough today to say who truly wants and needs Help and who is just wanting a hand out.
  22. If you are so full of hate for him that you cannot see his accomplishments then nothing I could say will help you out
  23. Big Girl cannot join in any thread without dragging Trump into it. Wealthy people from all parties take advantage of this system. The Clintons, Bidens, Obamas.....they all do this and that is why it has not and probably never will change.
  24. Not really.......I would want to remove all write offs and back door avenues to get to where someone owes nothing. That is how the ultra wealthy pay nothing. It is "legal" but ethical.......meah. I guess I favor a flat tax. You make $100,000, multiply by 10% and you owe $10,000. See how easy tax season becomes? But as Hippy said above, the big money decision makers won't allow this. The other issue is these ultra wealthy folks draw very little taxable salary, in proportion to their actual worth. They borrow off of their stock holdings and pay no tax off of that.
