  1. Judging from his past coaching gigs he is an O-line guru. Been part of dominant teams with great "salty" defenses (Corsicana 2011-12 & Cy-Ranch 2014-15), had to pick up something. Also, Silsbee has an apparent vacancy on staff w/ Woodard retiring. Maybe he convinces a young, aspiring wide receivers/special teams football coach (M.Allen) to join him. With our special teams nightmares in 2016, it couldn't hurt. Food for thought....
  2. True. Fedora was at Navasota for Eleven years.
  3. Your that guy. Figures. My brother drives a wrecker. *W*An*A
  4. Will be broadcasted on the web if you don't have cable or satellite.
  5. Nice. Classy move. Prob be in San Antonio as well.
  6. It will still be more than enough.
  7. Headed out in the morning. See y'all in SA!! Be safe everyone.
  8. Hopefully SeTX got the sponsors they needed so any fans back home can hear the games.
  9. Lol. Such vitriol when it comes to Silsbee. Talent just needs coaching, some of the players on defense this year were first timers. Good defense amounts to trusting your teammates to do their job, trust comes from executing their part of the defense and execution comes from players having the discipline and dedication to get better at doing your job or role in the defensive scheme. It all comes full circle in my opinion. Good teams have the talent and great teams use preparation to get the most out of that talent. Most teams just don't have enough talent every year to win continuously, some teams do.
  10. Can we please stop forgetting to mention BS. Be safe everyone.
  11. 4A-DIV II is WOS to lose. But hell, we already knew that didnt we. [Hidden Content]
  12. Lee Fedora speaks about his decision. Judging by the tone things are changing in a big way in Navasota. Good or bad is yet to be seen. Did not realize that L. Fedora had been in Navasota for 11 years. [Hidden Content]
  13. Wow. Cant believe I missed this. I am a subscriber. Embarrassing.
  14. My take as well. His major backer in trouble and didnt know til after this last board meeting. Sad.
  15. @larry_bowen: Update: Fedora says upcoming changes at @NavasotaISD influence his decision to leave. [Hidden Content] #txhsfb
  16. Here is a list of current changes for 2016....so far. Silsbee didnt even make this list and of course Navasota will be updated. [Hidden Content] Most likely the carousel hasnt ended. Crazy year for coaches, especially with AD/HC salaries on the rise.
  17. You mean BC right? They looking for a change in football over there? Based on history that is not how the Silsbee ISD rolls.
  18. Lol. What a s%#! Burger that would be. Of course, I wouldn't mind having that loaded kind of staff but odds are that he won't ever be anything but a head coach from now on unless a 6A snaps him up for a future AD/HC.
  19. Didn't mention a lot. A. Thomas, Barnes, Lowe, McCain or the fact that we have an all new O-Line. Of course. Now we have a new head coach and Navasota lost theirs. This article just recognized that the region is tough.
  20. If he was so what. You give him a reason to stay and with the delay, that gave him a feeling of we don't care if you leave. Lesson learned.
  21. Silsbee Lady Tigers take the Lady Hawks 5-0 in their first district 24-4A matchup. (FR) Pitcher B. Forse goes the distance and wraps up No-Hitter. 7 IP, 0 H, 5Ks, 1 BB, 2 HBP (JR) C. Wright and (FR) A. Montgomery both go 3-4 in a 15 Hit barrage on Hawk pitching. Young Lady Tiger team with strong Senior leadership looking to make some noise.
  22. Road to Sate wont be easy in 2016. [Hidden Content]
  23. The fact that he was an OC hopefully leans towards keeping most of the current staff. Of course, his call if changes need to be made.
