UIL To Set Pitch Limit [Hidden Content] I have mine, what say you?

Looks like really poor weather at the end of District is going to really cram some games into a two week period before Bi-District. Silsbee with an open day on the 22nd looks to benefit them on making up Tuesday with LC-M and also allows their staff to rest up and reset. Hows it look for everybody else? WOS looks to have toughest schedule, on paper, to close out District, playing district contenders for last 4 games. Not to mention seeding..... District still up for grabs!!! Lets hear it...

I wouldn't say BC played sloppy, just really over aggressive in a couple situations. The play where they tried to stretch a single into a double killed a run that prob would have won the game. Big play for Silsbee. Errors decided the game though. Like HotRod said above, Silsbee had them early, BC had them late.

Nelson with the 1 out suicide squeeze results in a wild pitch. Crazy game. Way to hang on Tigers after that rough 2ND inning. Both teams load the bases in the 8th, Silsbee gets the win.

24-4A just got REAL interesting.

Errors playing big part in this game. Afraid Silsbee has too many to recover.

Silsbee Track as a Team seems to be struggling. Is this recent? I am ashamed to say that I havent followed it as fas as SIlsbee is concerned. Silsbee has plenty of talent to compete.

BC hits well. 2-1 on RSF/RSA Last I checked, Silsbee & WOS pretty much have similar Runs Scored For/Runs Scored Against.

Was curious how your team is doing in those always important close games? Silsbee Tigers ( 10-7, 6-2 ) Current 5 game winning streak. have been in 10 games this year where the result was decided by 2 Runs or less. Record in those games 6 Wins - 4 Losses. All 4 losses were by one run. (Please feel free to correct, all info from Gamechanger)

Yep. Silsbee still has an open date. Will be interesting who fills it. Coach Smith trying to schedule another big school team before district kicks in? Only 5 District games.

Silsbee Volleyball players were informed yesterday that both their Varsity & Junior Varsity Coaches have stepped down from their positions. Both Coach Leach and Coach Drake will continue to teach/coach at the Silsbee Middle School but will no longer coach at the High School. No conspiracies here, just family responsibilities take priority. I wish both coaches the best and thank you for helping in our girls development, especially mine.

Lots of attendance at the home games for Baseball and Softball across all school sport athletes, not just the football players. Ive been hearing good things out of the weight room. Players who maybe didnt work out on the weights as they should be, depending on talent alone. Good sign. You have to continue to improve. Get bigger, faster, smarter and then you can not falter in the end. Coach Smith has made some appearances as well. He and Coach Thompson looked to be having a cordial conversation at the WOS vs Silsbee game last week. New Era, New Ideas, New Approach. Guess we'll see.

It was a solid game. Period. Each team paid for their errors, which were very few. It is how baseball should be. Tied in the 7th and each team had their shot at winning. Silsbee just executed better, its not a bad thing to lose this way. I was hoping for a good game and I got what I wished for. Enjoyed it from start to finish. Including the mistakes. Represent.
