I'm disappointed Sterling never ran speed option (true). They ran power option towards the end but the QB took two steps and hot potatoed it. The backs should really work on cutting in open space...a few more games and their offense should become respectable. Lee looks good. Better than last year and they could possibly sneak a play-off spot.

Flex offense is a coaches offense, not a sell tckets offemse. As I recall from last year, Sterling ran a "pretty offense" and it look like the Mexico youth football league out there.

Congrats to Dayton. At the Baytown Lee-Stterling game they announced 28-7 and I said well, That's over. Way to shut me up.

Pearland pulled away midway thru the third. They found their running legs and simply muscled out a win. Madison had a few late ttouchdowns. Donald Driver's nephew Leonders Driver is D1 material. He scored 3 TDs . Kid has wheels. Final pearland 45 madison 24

14-10 pearland at the half. Pearland is not looking crisp. Their offense is struggling in the run game and the pass game has one touchdown and the rest is not worth mentining. Madison is looking as a district champion. Their QB is very eluasive. Should do good against the district Madison is in. Oh, pearland other TD was a returned block punt.

Somewhere in west Texas the high school football Gods got together and proclaimed that Memorial is DII Region Region 4 championship material. Well I don't know about that but I do know they have two of my Baylor Bears Family members on their team so I'll be rooting for Memorial (outhside of their annual loss to La Porte) all season. Memorial takes it 42-21

What offensive and defensive sets will sterling work out of? I'll be at the game Friday.

New staff at Sterling. I think they will have a better system and a vote of confidence from the players. I see sterling winning a close low scoring game. 13-9
