I suspect the biggest problem Aledo would have with the East Texas Carthage Dawgs is speed.  

Think I saw where Crosby plays Carthage early next season.  Hoping it is a competetive game.  

Obama told us he was going to fundamentally change this country.  If you dislike this country you should be happpy because he is getting it done.  It took a John Wayne type personallity to try to stop the crazyness but you just can't fight the media.  The old saying that you never  fight someone that buys ink by the barrel is even more true today.  It's just changed from ink to electronic media.  

You still have to follow the money and it looks like China has bought the country.  

Just as Surratt predicted, Kip Lewis is getting flooded with big offers.  With a healthy and sucessful senior year I suspect he can go anywhere he wants.

Horton is an  incredible qb.  I don't know a team he wouldn't be starting on, certainly in our area.  Surratt is a quarterback guy and Horton is his qb.  Enough said.  His stats are very good.  Surratt puts a lot of faith in him and calls him the coach on the field.  He isn't perfect but anyone that thinks he is a mediocre qb just doesn't know what they are talking about.

Think I heard guard around is no longer legal.  In this case he hiked it and held it long enough for the player to come get it.  There was a pause when he held it.  

Anybody have an opinion on the trick play China Spring ran against Carthage.  From a punt formation the center hiked the ball and held it until a back came by and grabbed it and ran in for a score.  Does the center have to hike it to somebody or can he hike it and hold it?

we may find out who has improved the most.

curious if anyone knows if carthage starters have allowed more than one touchdown in any game this year.  

the coach and administration gambled by tolerating his thuggery for the benefit they got from his athleticism.  the gamble failed and they must pay.  they are responsible for the actions of the team when they should have reasonably believed there was a chance something like this would happen.  there was a history.  the outraged parents can make their feelings known at the next school board election.  it happened on their watch.  

kinda like if a political party lies, cheats, and steals in the past, you must assume they will lie, cheat, and steal in the future.  

backups gave up 7 at end of the game

carthage vs china spring will be over at half.  don't know about the other game.

Carthage has won every game with relative ease and I don't see a reason to think the game with China Spring will be any different.  CS will be a well coached and well prepared team but the game won't be the same as the last time they met.  

Dawg defense gave up no points.  Fake punt got the score.
