As I posted on the other board, if you haven't already, you might enjoy the coaches post game interview on the Gilmerbuckeye.com site.  I learned that Carthage is nervous about playing Gilmer again.

Gilmer is a really good team.  You have cause for frustration.  Competing with Carthage for the next several years will be difficult.

I doubt any team Carthage plays this year will put up 40 points.  The defense is pretty much the same personnel as last year.  With no games played by the complete starting o-line by Carthage, that will be the question to the game.  But even with a struggling ground game, they've shown they can still beat a good team.  

Dang Coach Surratt will be Pallbearer for another friend and covid victim.  Only 44 years old.  Prayers for the family and many friends.   

I would be in a bad mood too if getting another state title required going through Carthage.  These comments of asinine fans or recruiting just give Dawg fans a chuckle because it shows your pain.  

wos and aledo are in a tag team that reminds me of listening to biden and pelosi.

To anyone that follows your posts its pretty obvious that Carthage is a threat to your ego.  So yes, you do have a dog in the fight.

looks like they beat calallan last year 24-20

dont expect them to believe you hike.  got some pain going on.   

aledo playing 6a team that struggles to have 500 record.  get some courage guys.  5a < advertised.

you guys praised your superior speed all week.  of course the run back was more than just speed but i believe paddie is our fastest player.  

with all the speed talk before this game, ends up speed of carthage kick returner put nail in coffin.   

tight competition for starting job there.  rockmore was figured to be the starter but you never know until they get into game situation.  big relief to get that decision made.  

no secret carthage won lottery when hired surratt.  

anybody know if there is a pre game interview with crosby coach.  anybody can see surratt pre game interview

carthage used to have trouble with slot-t.  no longer.  

the truth has been challenged by so many posts that we are just defending the truth.  also some not giving carthage much hope due to size difference in schools.  

hagar you are correct on coaching changes at half.  carthage just doesn't lose 2nd half.  

so give us some info on game and opponent.  gotta be better than watching biden destroy the world.

You give up a freaking kickoff return for a td at the end of the game. If the Crosby kickoff guys stay in their lanes we’re probably having a different discussion. Our qb just flat out missed, as in didn’t even see, guys behind the Carthage coverage twice. That’s not coaching. 

Maybe you can say Carthage double-teaming Casey which slowed him down, and us deciding to continue to single cover Hatten which allowed him to carry Carthage was a coaching, but again if the dbs get their heads around we probably get s couple more picks and are having a different discussion. 
 

Crosby’s defense outplayed Carthage’s, Carthage’s offense outplayed Crosby’s, and Carthage made one special teams play Crosby didn’t. Crosby lost the game in the third phase but all three count on the scoreboard. You take your L and try to improve. I will say it’s not disappointing to see where we’re were tonight and know we still have vast room for improvement. 

surratt rarely punts.  seen him go for it on his own 4.  lot of confidense in defense.  you guys got beat by undermanned 4a team.  face it.  

5-A took a little hit tonight whether you want to admit it or not.  A 4-A team drove a few hours with a bunch of jv players and beat a pretty good 5-A team.
