Im in the process of putting together a All Star Basketball game for the Sr Boys around SETX as a way to bring light to the talent we have around this area. The game will be March 18th between the time of 12-3pm. It will be held at the Toyota Center in Houston Texas where the Houston Rockets play. I would love to hear the people on this threads nominations on players that are worthy of attending. If you would like to nominate a Sr please do so below with name, size and school. If you have contact information for the Sr feel free to send it to [email protected]. We will live stream the event with Lamb Production. Also that day RCS Sports will be hosting a unsigned Sr event that will have college coaches in attendance. If a SR is lucky enough to be invited to the RCS event I advise they go to that over my event. I will not have college coaches at my event but we will live stream. My event is a gift to the youth of this community to showcase their skills in a professional arena. I look forward to hearing from everyone!!!!!

If HD will heave to the great advice given on this site, they will be champions and after all, Carthage, Aledo, North Shore, are among the teams that get their advice from these potato couch coaches.

West Hardin is in front of the race for a district championship this year and is not looking to hand it over to their cross town rivals. West Hardin will be more than ready for their matchup and having last year's Co-MVP on the court for the oilers will make all the difference.

It appears that you aren’t familiar with the situation either.  A) I said he was ignorant because his original post implied that the head coach stopped coaching in order to be an AD only, dodging the responsibilities of being a head coach and all that comes with it. B ) did it ever occur to you that there may have been good reason for waiting until the end of summer to make the decision?  I don’t know the situation in full detail, nor do I know the coach personally, nor is it any of mine or your business so I won’t post the reason I heard for him waiting.  But it’s a legitimate reason (if what I heard is true). Furthermore, I heard that he actually offered to resign if the district wasn’t happy with his reasoning.. but that the Sup and board decided that he was too valuable to the school so they agreed to give him the year to be a dad to his senior son.  Again.. information that I heard from my friends that have friends.
Even if none of that is true, it seems to me that HD fans are notorious for wanting instant success when it just isn’t feasible.  I happen to remember at the beginning of the season all of the “it’s gonna be a good thing..won’t miss a beat” type talk when word of your basketball guy was taking over.  So I don’t wanna hear it.  Yeah, I said he was ignorant because of (explanation ^).. maybe you’re a little bit ignorant as well.

And every one that doesn't like the recommendation can chose to throw fits are to back the man that gets the job. I JUST THINK EVERYONE NEEDS TO PUT DIFFERANCES A SIDE AND DO WHAT BEST FOR THE KIDS AND THAT WOULD BE TO BACK THE MAN THAT GETS THE JOB. At the end of the day we as adults have all had our time. So lets let the kids of H-F have there's and back the new AD   
 

WANT / NEED are two different things here. They both would have good points at H-F. But the bottom line who ever it is the community needs to back the man and let him do his job. it will not be over night success PERIOD
