1.
I have PNG leading the series 8-1. 1989 PNG  41  Crosby  21 2000 PNG    7  Crosby    0 2001 PNG  42  Crosby    7 2003 PNG  45  Crosby    7 2006 PNG  21  Crosby  14 2007 PNG    0  Crosby    7 2008 PNG  28  Crosby  27 2009 PNG  37  Crosby    7 2010 PNG  38  Crosby    7
good info thanks for it. i knew it han't been 3 30+ in a row. PNG has had our number no question, but simply put if ba dreams involving purple are happening it has nothing to do with Indians. except for 09 the broncos games ahve been far worse than these. Honestly i look at rivalries within tenures when i do analysis, for example bh beating dayton in 1961 don't mean a whole lot. 1-4 in the past 5 seasons, maybe it's time for a cougar win. I don't know should be a decent game and as always if the youngsters at Crosby hold on to the football then Crosby will keep it competitive. I also think people don't understand the amount of talent this Crosby team has, experience not that much but sheer talent they can play with anyone in the region. It would be nice to see them show that talent this week. I expect the offense to click this week and the defense to be slightly offended by the calls for 50 by halftime, i think the cougs play well.
 2.
Thats what ya said last year brenham fan...... talked and talked and talked about how dayton didn't stand a chance against brenham, brenham this, brenham that, brenham home after 1st playoff game.... just sayen
Brenham is the least crap talking person on this site, he loves his team and believes they will win, and they do quite often, leave him alone pick a fight with bhfan or one of the million others who actually do things to make people angry. Brenhamfan has always an will always be a class act. And i've never seen the words Dayton doesn't stand a chance on a single post Brenhamfan has posted. I'll jump on you if u mess with a reasonible poster! boom.  8)
 3.
Crosby has nightmare about purple and white, LMAO
If that where true and it isn't it wouldn't have anything to do with indians.
 4. Montgomery by 14... just cuz i think they're better than we think.
 5. Sheesh... judge not lest yee be judged. Well we will see PNG by 20? I think the PNG defense better get some foot work drills in this week, i hear the crosby rb/qb are quick as a whistle and have a low center of gravity (nice word for small and short.) But i know these kids are confident, i think they might keep this one closer than expected. Whatever the case the Cougars season won't be as bad as many seem to believe. Score? well lets keep optimism a fly cougars 42-41 on a missed xp.
 6. Sorry wasn't there, how was the defense was it turnovers or did they control the los? .
 7. please edit this to Montgomery Wins! Thank you.
 8.

There  is no doubt that Brenham will have a great team ! Mr. Brenham fan I wouldn't worry about 17 4a as much as hooking up with the Bronco's in the early playoff rounds .This years Bronco's might be the most "Dangerous" team since 2008 ! You know what they say " On any given Day "   ~~~~~~~~~       I can't wait till kick off !       ~~~~~~~  PS " No Green Shoes "
Lol.  Come on now!  Everybody loves the green shoes. ;D
I'd take this seriously if not that 2009 and 2010 team were suppose to be that to. Dunno gl to the broncos but we will wait and see.
 9.
Did Mercka go to Tcu?
yessir hes gonna have a shot at QB but more than likely you'll see him playing slot or tight end.
 10. crosby v. montgomery should be a fun game. Both teams get to see what they have early.
 11. disagree. I think the look to merka to do everything effect last year was horrible but thier no way the team isn't better with a 6'5 d1 prospect who can run and throw... simply not possible. However if the defense is better perhaps, we beat some teams this year.
 12. Also don't get it confused about debate... Crosby always wins that... whats it now 20 years in a row crosby has won cross-x districts.
 13.

Exactly. It was probably 19-7 at the time.  That would have made it 19-14 late in the game. I'm not saying Lee should have won or deserved to win, because Lee was an absolutely, downright, deplorable team last year. I'm just saying that it's not like Barbers Hill rolled all over them like Dayton did to Lee.
I with ya Panama! Dayton would have not beaten us by a 100 if we could have gotten that 1st down in the 4th with 2 minutes to go  ;D Man Dayton was lucky 8)
I think Dayton might hang 70 on the Ant Mound this year.  :D
I can't explain what happened last year. All I can say is it was early in the season under a brand new O and D scheme with new coaches + 9 turnovers. Even Dayton’s State team didn't beat the Eagles by that much! Dayton had its year that it beat the Eagles like a step child, but it will not become an annual event I Guarantee you.
The time will come when BH lucks out and wins like that other loser to west of Dayton.........and just like that other loser the Broncs will start another "reign of terror" for a decade or so and relegate the ant mound to the ash heap of history
Dont confuse BH with Crosby. Remeber BH is the school that takes Dayton to the WOODSHED in every UIL competition except football. Once BH gets some more numbers Dayton will be the ones recalling the days when they had dominace over the hill  ;D Enjoy your reign 8)
Hay now don't bring Crosby into this i might have to side with a dayton fan and believe me thats the last thing i want. Although i question in the post-stewart era (3-4 years from now) if Dayton will be the same team, it will happen with the current kids all had stewart as a coach but what about those kids who will never get coached by Stewart thats when u figure out how good ur current coach is, i expect hes pretty good but is he Stewart prolly not. Although that Vere option offense that BH is running is pretty good, but anyones realistic shot at beating the broncos is a hell of a defense and an offense that can keep the ball out of the Broncos hands (on the 50 or closer). So BH needs a run game, a GREAT defense, and a good punter. swirl that with a little luck and you get a win. Also the jury is still out on the new coaching staff, givem 2 more years and we will see what BH might be.
 14.
Went to the HS this afternoon and asked a coach about Jak.Was told he had another surgery to have pins removed recently. He's been working out the upper body functions. As for the move in from Liv.he will be a soph.@ 6'-190 @ best from good sources but he must undergo some serious workouts that he has not been to happy about by word of mouth to make this team. It's no cakewalk @ DHS to be a Bronco and 1st ya gotta commit w/o gripping about the program. He'll be ok and he seems willing now.Graduating seniors will be missed but have some re-arranged players who'll share duties @ nose.Off.will be good n quick, not as big @ LB but more atheletic, secondary will be prolly the best in a few years w/lots exp and speed. Will go to the weight room nxt week and see what we look like ;)
looks fine to me. no more big boys to tackle (at least in 21-4a) only question marks are those lines. gl.

 16. Keep doubting. =P All I'm going to say. Everyone think's No Merka = no good Crosby? Seriously? We have players we have a pretty decent coaching staff and will always score pts as long as Flannigan is the AD/HC. Merka was a huge loss but... our defense should be much improved and we will probably field a much better rb this year. Combined with a few kids that can actually catch coming up... it'll be an OK year. I think a lot like 3 years ago. make playoffs not much else... but NF? and GCM beating Crosby? GCM played a hell of a game last year but GL to them this year... all those Juniors will be very intense for that game, and hopefully we won't see the same looking for one player to win every game we saw last year. IF we ever decided to put as many athletes on the d side of the ball i think we'd be much improved, but we will see
 17. so Crosby has 1 loss out of tournament play and your punishing them why? other than the 1 loss to lee we have not loss to a 4a school. every loss was in a tournament (second round or later) against 5a schools?
 18.

Hay if they want to bring up that i got a list of recent broncos who did censored that would make you go what the heck?
\ All transfers from Crosby ;)
Really? gosh wish we would have called violations think how many games we would have won without that hoss wideout on the field.
 19.
unike a game that just takes whatever two kids anyone from the Area sends them?? Is that your definition of an all star game. And By the Way the Chronicle Player of the year ( Darian Lazard) Played last year, So I guess they do get the best, just not from Batson or Doucett, or Sabine pass.
To be fair their were more first round talents on the Dayton vs Crosby game than on this field. =/. 2 D1 kickers 2 D1 Players (Merka and DT from Broncos) Crosby had some high level d2 prospects on the line. iunno. HAY broncos who else went d1?
 20. Pretty sure it's at Stallworth thats where it's been past 2 years. Yep was right heres the link [Hidden Content] Answer to your question is no one. all Houston schools mostly on the west side of town.
 21. Hay if they want to bring up that i got a list of recent broncos who did shit that would make you go WTF?
 22.

Oklahoma State has been very successful using this formation... The Sooners also run it... and TCU...  It's good misdirection and if a D loads up on the run then QB can check off to a one on one passing situation with two split ends.  Just another way to move the ball... I think it's good stuff!
which is why you are not a coach and on here talking smack.  Its too predicitable and easy to cover.  Will not work consistantly.
The formation TCU runs is a shotgun with 3 backs surrounding him their are no split ends.
 23. The diamond formation is different from a wishbone, for 3 reasons. 1) You cannot run a proper triple option out of it, it's a quick shotgun triple option which means the formation has limited viability in a short yardage setting. 2) quick options are easier to see, and the formations movement is easier to see by LB's 3) your running backs start 7 yards back instead of half a yard back so it means they have 7 extra yards to pick-up before they start picking up yards. It can be done but it's going to primarily be a 2 rb 2 wr set and their will be several flats passing plays out of it, and it's strength is the power option our the power handoff to either side. THIER IS NO FB is this formation.
 24. HAHHAHA! yeah Crosby uses the same play scored on it 3x 1 got called back for some reason. Against BH/CE King it was a TD against GP they called it back.
 25.
Crosby's kicker probably had decent stats as well.  What about 20-4A or a 4-A kicker in the houston area.  This kid from Lake Travis is probably very deserving, I was just curious how the kickers in this area stack up against him.
NOPE! he got blocked way too many times, he's a good kid and a good leg but hes slow to the football and it gets blocked.
