4. BH-92 BH Rep 1. BH (Avg allowed points best in two districts 7.8 PPG. Beat Nederland and Dayton. Nederland beat Livingston) 2. Nederland (Beat Livingston, played BH close) 3. Livingston (Based on wins/loses in 20-4A) 4. Dayton (Played BH close, injuries an issue) 5. Vidor (beat ozen, running game powerful, defense good) 6. LCM (good offense, 2nd best in 20-4A and 2nd best defense in 20-4A) 7. Ozen (Good balance between offense and defense ability) 8. GCM (better than record. stronger defensive play and very athletic skill players.  coaching adjustments they could beat BH and Dayton) 9. Crosby (beat PNG.  Can outscore any team with a questionable defense.  Crosby defense is it's weakness allowing 33.6 PPG) 10. LEE 11. PNG (good coaching and offense playing good.  defense is fair.  played Nederland close, but that's a rivalry game) 12. GP (very capable players, defensive line is good.  injury at RB does not help them) 13. Central (lack about everything except speed) 14. King (same as central) 15. NF (good skill players, poor discipline and lacks QB play) 16. Lumberton (schedule results say it all.  they are better than a 0-6 team, just have no offense)

 6. The results of this poll are a cumulative extrapolation of the pollers. The pollers each ranked each team from 1-16, Then the highest and lowest rankings for that school where dropped. The following is the middle scores for each team and thier subsequent rank. This process was used to assure outlier bias couldn't result. The cumulative results are as follows: (# first place votes) [Cumulative score total] 1. Barbers Hill (6) [4] Received all of the first place votes. 2. Nederland [8] Received all second place votes. 3. Livingston [12] Recieved all Third place votes. 4. Dayton [17] 5. Vidor [19] 6. Crosby [29]Benefitted from mixed feelings about Ozen 7. Ozen [31] 8. 9.

Well I remember back when a healthy team w/great defense/offense went to Crosby and got skunked. Now with the injuries/young players coaches are trying to make ajustments w/what they have.Until we get on the level w/PNG and have 40 seniors on a team vs.17-20 we're gonna have some issues.I'm proud to be a fan-not just because we win alot but we do it w/alot less exp.players.It's been a fun ride for awhile w/alot of accomplishments but re-loading does not make you automatic champions.Pre-season I thought we'd be healthy and put up 40 pts a game but it's not the case this year.We are missing a bruiser back that can get 5 yds when we need 4 for a 1st down.3rd dwns are hurting our production. Not wrapping up is hurting the young defense.Keep plugging Broncos we've got 4 games to play before playoffs.I'm pulling for you kiddos ;)
i would like to point out that crosby was really good that year they were 7pts away from playing in the d1 regional finals  that victory was no fluke but I think the margin of victory was
Best team I've ever seen at Crosby, but then again i haven't seen that many. This current squad for the Broncos is led by a very good short yardage passing QB, the problem is the Broncos want to run the ball, and the mix isn't on track, and the defense is no where near normal caliber. GCM has shown the ability to beat teams while their down (Crosby last year), I'll Take the GCMPats by 3.
 10. NOON ON 10-11-2011 the first 4a Fan Poll is coming out. Keep your eyes peeled, for the ballot record thread and the results thread.
 11. I really hate this defense... just saying. But good for vidor if its working its working.
 12. offense is clicking on all cylinders the cougs are effectively passing the ball, and they are keeping the defense off the field. 42-21 Cougs
 13.
why dont you step off coog....if you knew what the h*ll you were talking about, you would see that  this is the only game that Lumberton has been dominated....everybody wants to kick Lumberton while they are down...things come full circle...we wont forget.
Not likely. Dominated is relative... i believe 0-6 means your opponents have dominated you. i.e. no wins. When has lumberton been up? "If their hearts and minds had been on the game and not on the heartbreak the town has been through the game may would have been different.  No the Raiders have not won any games this season but they have played with pride and heart." Never questioned their hearts. and once if u need a person to diffuse your pain or upsetness i'll be ur nameless mirror.
 14. doesn't everyone?
 15.
That was another ugly Dayton win. Sometimes I wonder if the opposing sprays down with oil before the game, the missed tackles are inexcusable. Lots of missed opportunities with dropped passes and open receivers not seen. I may catch a little flack for saying this, but I can really see a change in discipline, execution, decision making, and demeanor in general of this team. Maybe the coaching change had a little more effect on this team than we thought. I'm not saying Hancock is a bad coach, I'm just saying he is probably not quite the motivater that Big Stu is. What ever it is, they better get a grip on it cause GCM is waiting to be the next team to take down the mighty purple and white.
I believe when i said at the beginning of the year, "we'll see how they do without Stewart" everyone thought i was crazy.
 16.
Your right hillguy, NF ain't bad at all defensively and their QB is a heck of a player. BH played sloppy, but it's a win. Got to work on dropping LB's back in coverage before next week.
Must be tonight... they where pitiful last week.
 17.
To put it nicely, Dayton is not very good this year.  No leadership.
Sounds accurate.
 18. Aston Walter #7 threw for 4 tds this game. #11 Jacoby Scott with 2 receiving tds and over a hundred yards receiving. Austin Walter prolly 150-200 yards with a score.
 19. St. Pius will win.
 20. I dunno i'd take BH over livingston right now, simply because i think bh has the best defense in the area.
 21.
If he assaulted her on July 5th, why did she go back on the 7th?
Sexual assault has many meaning. Because of the age difference statutory rape could be considered sexual assault. 41 to 14 = no go. In the words of a good friend of mine.... Jail Bait.
 22. 42-21 Cougs maybe 35-21
 23.
Lee has the talent....the question is the coaching.  Could be close...more likely to be a Dayton Romp.  Every team has a little swoon every year....let's hope it's over for this year.
Dayton wins but i think they give up some points. 42-28 dayton.
 24. you should start your own poll its what i did.  ;)
 25.

well i don't care about them, and im doing the work to make this poll so... i guess thats all that matters aye? its really just a 4a poll because that's what interest me. And as someone whos dealt with statistics on a regular basis i feel i can create a fair environment for this poll.
I do understand and you do have that flexibility.  But as you can understand, it would be a bit troubling for us to do a poll that would exclude 43 of the 59 schools within our coverage area.  We are a board that is intended to give a voice to schools of all size, be those as large as West Brook and Memorial to the smallest of schools in Chester and Community Christian.  Heck even beyond that we provide those smaller schools like Goodrich, Spurger, Brookeland, Port Arthur Prestonwood and yes, even Big Sandy up in Dallardsville, who do not choose to play football but do compete vigorously in other sports. And that is how our poll is contructed and divided, to give all schools an opportunity to be considered.  Of course, we know that not all will be happy at how that poll turns out...it is not intended, but anticipated...but at least they have the opportunity to be ranked and we do not have a problem with with the disagreement with that poll.  Yes, we will defend our choices and to the extent board rules allow, will point out when we believe the disagreement is an unreasonable one. I'll certainly admit that talk of the 4A districts comprises a large portion of our posts. However, that is by poster choice, not any arbitrary policy by the site.  We invite discussion and analysis regarding all schools regardless of size and while you can without interference from the site conduct your poll, this is just to let everyone know because we allow the segregation of one classification from the others does not mean that we endorse it.
look at the number of people west of Liberty to east of it. when you do that their are far more 4a schools to the west than any other, however this is the point. 1) my criticism has nothing to do with your coverage. It has to do with the comprising members. 2) The current make-up of pollsters makes senses for 20-4a, 3a, 2a, 1a, and even 5a. 3) YOU CLAIM to cover all of SETX including 19-4a. Yet i bet 65% of the people voting in that poll haven't seen a 19-4a district game. 4) your coverage in polls fundamentally excludes 19-4a and as such i'm giving them as well as 20-4a their own poll. a) this is justified by the clear prevalence for 19/20 4a traffic. b) by the lack of coverage for your MOST POPULAR subject area. c) to get rid of the i watch x or y team bias, and instead create a focused and fair assessment, because i can offset bias by having even/close to even representation. Of all the coverage areas you give theirs almost none given to MY district thus i'm giving it to them. This is easily shown by the fact that during the past 2 broadcast which btw your site has popularized, their has been mention of gcm 3 times crosby 2x, dayton 5x. Silsbee had a 20+ min segment, yet theirs no coverage of the biggest upset of the day with dayton losing to BH? Even coverage is fine... when its even. It's either small school or golden triangle no in between with your pollsters. p.s. i don't criticize your site just your poll. It's like someone in dallas ranking who they thought where the best team in houston. o wait... everyone already complains about that.
