1.
1. Galena Park ISD 2. Beaumont ISD 3. Turner (Humble ISD) Nicely upgraded. 4. Stallworth If Lamar would be more accomodating, then yes. Would PN-G allow the Reservation to be used? I could see Bronco Stadium and Barbers Hill's stadium being used for a neutral site - especially 3A.
PN-G Visitor's side isn't big enough..
 2. Nothing's been said for Nederland obviously. We still don't know who we would play. But they may flip for home if both coaches want to. Otherwise it will probably be stallworth or something. It'd be nice to get a game at the butch and make the Houston area schools travel a little... sheesh..
 3.
nederland might have a closer battle than they expect w/central
Heard that a lot this year..
 4.

Nederland is playing for a bit more than Vidor.. I.e. back to back undefeated District Championships.. Starters won't be pulled if the game is in question..
True but Vidor is playing for a chance at a co-district championship. There is still a chance lol.
I don't think it's probable.. I was just playing devil's advocate for a second.. I still think Vidor will beat LC-M..
 5.
Actually, I have other plans at that same time. I have plans of jumping that gate to celebrate with the boys without being caught  by stadium security.    ;D By the way, you say that LC-M team was Medeocre?  Well, I agree.  But this team a chance to end the season for the Jags and according to the local press and most of you, you felt the same way.  Now, at the moment, we're still alive and it feels good.  We'll see if we have what it takes to stay on the field with  this state ranked bulldog team.
Central has given us fits in the past so I won't count them completely out. But this team is really good. They execute well, they finish plays, the receivers block well, etc. They do a lot of small things that add up and pay off. I am impressed with the attention to detail this team has. I hear all the talk about Mitchell. We've stopped several one and two man units this year. Quirante, Collins, the Crosby Twins, Sezer, etc. I haven't seen Central, but I can't imagine them being all that tough with a 3-6 record. We will see their resolve though. Because Nederland will score the first two touchdowns.
 6.
Why is it that NOONE can say anything about Nederland without GoDogs jumping on them? I understand you like your town & team, but come on! Post after post, its the same thing. Soulja didn't mean the dogs any harm & twocents just wants the Jags to win so his team can share the district title. Relax a lil.    8) :)
Hey 17 posts guy.. You evidently haven't been around long enough to read  many of my posts.. Post after post it's the same thing?? Uhmmmm did you see how critical I was of Nederland during the Lumberton game?? I call it how I see it and I'm as straight shooting as you'll get.. Stick around..
 7.

Yes it was definitely a tense game at LC-M. I see a 14 point win though.. That's all that matters. If you want comparisons, Central got spanked by Ozen and Vidor, which Nederland beat by a combined 42 points. I guess the Nederland haters are just going to keep coming. Notice how Vidorians have to jump in every time?? Get over your obsession with Nederland already.. It's become pathetic.. And p.s. Soulja, why does that touchdown being a pick 6 matter?? Our defense has scored a lot of points for us. Does that mean our team is garbage?? I prefer my defense to score points.. Maybe that's why you are sitting at 3-6.. Enjoy basketball season..
Why do you think I'm a Nederland hater?  I give props to Nederland all the time  just like I did when I saw your game vs. Ozen firsthand.  It's just that NOW, your team and  team plays my team next week with a playoff berth on the line and now I'm considered a Nederland hater?  How asinine is that?
The haters comment was more directed at twocents.. I know you are smack talking and so am I. It just seems like no matter how many games Nederland wins or by how much they win them, they aren't that good. You were trying to make it seem like Nederland wasnt very good because you think they squeaked by LC-M. I know you've given credit to Ned in the past, and I take your comments with a grain of salt. But Central gets one decent win against a mediocre LC-M team and all of the sudden the 3-6 record is a farce.. I digress, keep up the smack talk. I have done mine. The boys will answer your call on Friday night.. Might want to check the movie times though. They usually have some starting around 9. Which is about when you'll be racing to get out of Nederland ;)

 10. Seriously?! I don't think anyone is saying coaching doesn't matter. Great coaches can get the max out of their players even in "down years" talent-wise. I know I'm a homer, but I don't think anyone would disagree that Neumann has done this many times. That to me is the big difference on the high school level.. High school coaches have to live with the hand they are dealt. There's no recruiting. I look in certain years at Ozen and Central for example. Huge talent pool but poor coaching. Coaching is extremely important and it starts at the middle school level to make sure the kids are getting bigger and stronger and in shape..
 11. There is one variable here... While I think it's highly unlikely what if Matthews decides to pull the starters early and LC-M steals a win... Not counting LC-M out completely against Vidor starters, I just think Vidor has more talent and a much better defense... But if the starters get pulled because of the playoff lock for the Pirates... you never know..
 12. Very much alive.. I think they will get in because I don't think Central will beat Nederland and I don't see LC-M beating Vidor...
 13.
After all that GoDogs who do you think will get in ?
I think LC-M will likely get in because I believe they win tonight.. If Central wins tonight, then I think Ozen gets in. I would put the odds at LC-M 65%, Ozen 30% and Central 5%.
 14.
I think that was more than two cents, that was more like half a dollar!!!!! ;D
I tend to get a little wordy with playoff scenarios lol. Mostly because I confuse myself and have to go over it again to make sure I'm not missing something. Believe me, my brain hurt after that..
 15. He'll have a lot of fun throwing up the horned when he is riding the bench. Seen him at against Nederland. Wasn't that impressed...
 16. I have a theory and it applies to any school. I feel like the coaching at lower levels needs as much attention as it does at higher levels.. If you start preparing the middle school players by getting them bigger, faster, and stronger it will pay off huge dividends in high school.. Now I don't Lumberton's situation at the lower levels, I'm just making a point. I looked at Nederlands size and speed and compared it to Lumberton's and it's light years apart.
 17. Points mean nothing tonight. Ozen is in if there's a 3-way tie. I posted this in another thread:
Week 9 Results (minus the LCM vs Central game tonight) are posted.... [Hidden Content] Just curious... With the Ozen victory last night, Ozen has a pretty much automatic victory over Lumberton next week. With a Central victory tonight that could create a three way 3 and 4 record tie for 4th place. Can someone explain the tie breaker scenario, looks like Ozen might still get in with a Central victory.
IF Central wins tonight and Ozen/Vidor take care of business next week you will have Central, Ozen, and LCM tied for 4th place. It will go to points. Here is the point breakdown Ozen : +14 LCM :  +6  (pending tonight's game) Central : -20 (pending tonight's game) Note: **Points from now on mean nothing** Central is out if they lose next week to Nederland (if Ozen beats Lumberton), regardless of tonight's score because they can't catch Ozen on points. They would be, at most +1 on the points. Ozen's +14 wouldn't change. It's a stretch but Central could still get in even if they lose to Nederland if Ozen loses next week to Lumberton and LC-M loses both games. If LCM loses this week and next week (which is required for this scenario) then Ozen is in if they beat Lumberton. So in theory, tonights game means squat for a points tiebreaker. If LCM drops its last two games, Ozen is in with a win. If LCM wins tonight, LCM has clinched since they would hold the heads up tiebreaker against Central. Ok so summary. Points mean nothing tonight because if LCM wins, Ozen and Central are out for sure with 4 losses.. If Central wins, points still mean nothing because they will need to beat Nederland to get in as well. If they do that, they are in regardless of what the outcome of Vidor/LC-M is. Even if LC-M upsets Vidor, there is no points tie-breaker because it's two teams with 4-3 records and Central would win the heads up against LC-M. So, in essence, Central and LC-M control their own destiny. For Ozen to be in : W against Lumberton, a Central loss to Ned, and two LC-M losses. For Central to be in: W against LCM AND Ned ---- OR ---- W against LC-M, Ozen loss, LC-M loss For LC-M to be in: W against Central OR Vidor Remember, points are established so they mean nothing from here on.. LOL Any questions??

 19.
The part I have a problem with is the incessant whining, throwing hands up because we disagree with the coaches decision, what is this kindergarten?  Little Larry didn't want to play the same game as us so we pout in the corner?  Make it sound like he's making decisions as a personal attack, kind of childish isn't it?  As fans we cheer, we can disagree with things that are done, we talk about how we would do it, but don't you think some of this is being taken it a little far?  Neumann seems to have a plan for these last two games, how about we just try to stay awake and pray for no injuries.  Some of this is absurd.  In my opinion, if Nederland had been up 42 to 0 at that point (like we should've been), he would've punched it in and let the starters rest the whole second half.  He had obviously not been pleased with the 2qtr performance, we stunk up the joint offensively, so he knew they were going to get a couple of series in the second half to be where he wanted them to be before taking them out.  That's his call right there.  The kids didn't play well in the 2Qtr, dominated the rest of the game, but stunk up the 2 qtr, why not let him coach his team how he needs too?  I'm not blaming or supporting anyone, it just is what it is, the guy needed to see a little more out of his starters, knows the game overall is decided, didn't see the need to punch it in.  How about he says in his mind, we're working on a two minute drill right here with no timeouts, if the kids don't execute, time runs out and we go to the half.  Some of us just won't be pleased unless it's done EXACTLY how we want it done.
Who's whining or pouting?? You can have your opinion and I can have mine. You can think my opinion sucks. I don't really care. Nobody is attacking coaches or players.. What is there to attack? Look at what Neumann has done in Nederland and I don't think anyone would argue that fact. I simply don't agree with leaving timeouts in your pocket and not grabbing points when they are right in front of you, at least not in the first half. I understand being classy and I don't think there is any need to make the game 70-0.. But 28-0 isnt exactly running up the score. We can all have opinions and be civil about it. No I am not a coach nor do I think I could succeed anywhere near what our coaches do. I can still have an opinion though.. I'm not alone in this by the way. Did you hear this disbelief in the stands. Maybe he had a reason and that's fine. I still don't have to agree with everything any given coach does. People, it's ok to question things. It's completely legal. Let's try not to get our undies twisted up over a difference of opinion. I have more of a problem with people sitting on their fat butts being silent than I do with people questioning decisions..
Alright calm down.. Deep breaths.. Nobody is ragging on Noel.. I think he's a fantastic kicker.. Just wish he had more opportunities to show his stuff..
Honestly, how many chances do you want him to have?  He kicked 7 PATs tonight and 5 last week alone.  Luckily we didn't need any FGs today.
Well let me just explain my point a little better and really it comes down to a difference of opinion. I just think with 3 timeouts in your pocket and your driving deep down into your opponents territory, you play clock management and try to put some points on the board. I get it, you're up 28-0. But I don't think you're obligated to become a charity in the second quarter. Why hurry to the line and get a penalty instead of using a timeout?? especially if you're just going to let the clock run out without trying to score anyway? It's just an opinion and my opinion doesn't mean squat.. Let the kids try to put some points on the board before half..
 21.
Still beyond proud of my boys!!!!
+1... They played with a lot of heart... I wish the best for the seniors in their last game and beyond.. and for the underclassmen, I hope they will get it together before next season..
