I am sorry, but I've seen GCM several times including once this year and if Pearland Dawson is anywhere close to the same talent level as they were last year, this will get ugly quick... No offense GCM, but these guys are huge and fast and GCM is no match. But kudos for having hope. On paper, GCM gets destroyed. But who knows, a few fumbles, bad calls, snaps going over punters heads and you could have a ball game..

The LC-M defense looks suspect. Livingston put up 42 against them and only 7 against Ned.. I think the question is the Nederland O. If Barrow opens the playbook in the first half instead of waiting, then I think Nederland will cruise to an easy victory. The defense will be solid as usual.

The Livingston offense could never get anything going in the second half, so I wouldn't quite say we "had all we wanted against Livingston tonight." I really dont know why I am having to even say anything. We proved what we said we would prove last week, and that was who the better team was... Nederland. This other garbage is just garbage...

I think at the pro/college level it's worse than HS. I think these boards are probably policed a little too much, but the people in charge of the site are just that, in charge. If you don't like the rules, you don't have to be a member or visit the site. I don't agree with players names being said in a negative way, but I do believe the coaches should be fair game. I remember a thread being shutdown about coaches being on the hot seat. I didn't see anything wrong with that. I think there's a line in general but most people are good about not crossing it at the high school level. Hell, I've seen worse fights at a flag football pee-wee game.

How can Vidor and Summer Creek be winners if they play each other. I am not sure what they teach over there, but the schools over here in the far less superior district teach math. by the way, didn't 20-4A go 3-1 last year in bi-district?

Raines has really improved over the past couple of years and is now a top notch QB. He can put it on the money while rolling out, and that is a difficult feat. It's hard to pick favorites. I agree with this being a real team. As a former player under Neumann and being around the Nederland program for some time, I have never seen the single unit mentality that I see with this group. Everything is done as 1 and nobody is selfish. Really proud of this group and truly believe they are state championship material.
