1.
If you can't see Brock Pryor, it's raining pretty hard.  ;)
Quote of the year lol. And yes it was raining that hard. Can't question the Dogs guts so far. Bad first quarter and they have responded well so far. Just need a little luck on our side for once...
2. Bonehead bonehead bonehead plays are hurting us. Our offense is killing our defense.

5. Is it best to go 610 to 288? I'll be there. I don't get off until 5 though so save me a seat!!
6.
Come sit in our stands, we are actually pretty likable folks..for the most part  ;D
I would rather have all of my toes cut off and be water-boarded.
7. I know at least with the first pick, that a big factor was the defensive rush. The QB was close to being sacked, so when Shaw saw that, he jumped the receivers route. He knew that the WR couldnt go deep once the QB was being hurried. So lots of credit to the front four for causing the pressure and to Shaw for recognizing that the receiver's route couldnt go anywhere else. That's a unit working well together. Not to take anything away from the secondary, but the the defensive rush is making their job exponentially easier.
8. I agree. That's a solid top 6 though, and someone has to be #6 I guess. I would argue that Nederland has had a tougher strength of schedule than say Vidor, so I am not sure how they are ranked so much higher especially with Nederland's state ranking. Doesn't really matter though, just goes to show how ridiculous polls can be sometimes.
9.
No they don't
Devry Henderson got hurt and the Redskins D was all on a knee, so your rationalization is shot. That being said, I don't really see the big deal. It seems like you think something is wrong with it by bringing it up yourself. Personally I don't care if the other team takes a knee or not. I'm not worried about them, I am worried about the player down.
10. Rankings are just a cool thing on the side but really don't mean squat! I don't know who the #1 team is, but if you honestly think that the boys that suit up in the black and gold on friday nights dont believe that they can beat anybody in the state, then you're highly delusional. All the talk is about the defense, but I am going to give everybody a little nugget here. Carson Raines is money in the bank. He hasn't been talked about much but I've seen him zero in and deliver while scrambling in the two games this year. He has improved quite a bit. Watch out for the offense if they can get the O-line situation handled. But like I said rankings are rankings. #8 Arkansas lost to UL-Monroe today at home. That's how much rankings mean. Nederland is talented enough and coached well enough to beat anyone. That's what I know. and disclaimer: no I am not in any way related to Raines, nor have I ever met him. Just an observation.
11. Nederland - 24 Angleton - 21 It's going to be a close one. Noel hits 40+ yard beauty to break the tie.
12. Anybody think Nederland will move up from #10?
13.
could have been worse
Yeah. It kind of sucks for the starters because their PPG average is hurt but it was nice to give them some rest. Great job Dogs! Tough test next week!
14.
Did they announce the Homecoming Queen yet?
I guess I missed the humor in this lol?
15. Raines to Shaw, deep pass right on the money. That was scary accurate. 45-7 dogs. Another touchback for Noel. He has real potential to play after hs.
16. That "overconfidence" is really biting Nederland in the butt. And their defense is garbage too.
17. GCM defensive players getting frustrated and showing some late shoving, etc. it's understandable but their offense is putting them in bad spots.
18.
Nice luxury there. to  have a kicker hitting them from 40 yds out.
Yeah and it would've been good from 50+! Screen to Shaw, TD Dogs. 24-0
