1. Central over West Brook is mine. As for Ned/GCMFrom the games last year, GCM was not a very disciplined team. Lots of penalties, bad snaps, and mental errors. Obviously it's a new team, but that was just my opinion from last year. I don't see a GCM upset in the cards one bit.
 2.
... the Euro shows the front pushing the clouds to the south east and blowing it apart. Of course, what does the Euro know......
Ehh the Euro is pretty good historically but the GFS is king this year. This will not be a problem for TX. What's funny is that some models in the long range shunt it east across Florida, then trap it under a ridge and send it back southwest lol. Isaacs remnants just won't stay away.
 3.
We will see how good that defense really is when they play Angelton and that speed...Dayton has speed and we all saw how that turned out for that great defense
Does a 4th an short stuffing ring a bell?
 4.
Like everyone's vote of confidence. The boys had fun and played sound ball. Got to eliminate turnovers. Also I'd like the coaches to let offense play on for 4 qaurters.
Neumann's never been the kind of coach to keep on the throttle offensively. And I guess with a solid defense you really don't need to risk it. But I do agree that playcalling in the second half was WAY too conservative imo.
 5. I say Nederland - 24, GCM - 0 Yep, going to predict a shutout. What's your thoughts?
 6. This squad is for real. Everything is done as one unit, and I don't just mean between the whistles. I have never seen a group firing on all cylinders this early in the season. Usually, its week 6 or 7 before Ned plays like they did last night. That said GCM is a trap game, but if the coaches do what I know they are capable of, GCM is the only game on the schedule right now.
 7.

All we have heard this week was how the wonder twins were going to run over us.  114 yards I think total offense.  Most of that was on two plays in the second half.
All I can say is Crosby must be terrible because Nederland really sucks.
Do you like your crow fried or grilled? Give credit where it is due and be a little more mature.
 8.
My BAD
It's ok. Slightly tongue-in-cheek on my part but all the while typical of PNG fans.. ;)
 9.
PNG is up 14-0
Can't figure out how to do the 'roll eyes smiley, but if I could I would... Isn't there a PNG thread?
 10. I know it's one quarter but unless Crosby is garbage, Dogs are fo real!
 11. There's that Nederland offense that can't drive and score ... 7-0 Dogs
 12. I'm not going to sit here and type a list of reasons why MCM is such a big game whether both teams are 0-9 or 9-0. You can throw the record book out with that game. What's at stake as far as playoffs or district records go is but a drop in the bucket compared to bragging rights for a year. I'll simply say that there's a reason this game is highly regarded. And it's not because MC folks work for the media. This game is highly recognized state-wide by Dave Campbell's and other state-wide media outlets. There's way more to it than talent on the field or even how long the rivalry has existed. If it was just like any other rivalry like some have said, then it wouldnt be so high on the list on state-wide outlets for rivalry games.
 13. Let's not make this weird! ]
 14. You have to remember that even with fresh faces, defenses generally gel sooner than offenses do early in seasons. This is only exacerbated by the fact that Nederland has so many returning starters on D. Offense will come together as the season goes on. It's really all about staying healthy and peaking at the right time. Not concerned one bit about the offense in its first scrimmage against a good WO-S defense.
 15. It's better to just get sponsorships, and no I dont mean ones that play commercials all game. Nederland's scoreboard and jumbotron is nice, yeah it has the sponsorships around it, but to me it doesn't take anything away from the scoreboard and you aren't annoyed by commercials the entire time.
 16.
Bay City had no answer for Joe Ramoin. We would run the ball down their throats, get in the red zone and pass the ball, turning it over. I never have figured that one out.
Its called the OC choke-fest. We've had a few of those in big playoff games. I think Ned had possession inside BC territory something crazy like 10 times that night and never got points. Ned did get robbed on several bogus calls in probably the worst lop-sides officiating I've ever seen. That being said, our offensive playcalling was garbage on the BC side of the field. In 2010, when Sonnier was your go-to guy in the wilddog, you need a score late in the game. So instead of putting your best athlete in the game, you decide to go with a 3rd string sophomore QB with very few reps. (no offense to him, I mean can you blame him for being jittery?). In 2008, Ned opened up in the wild-dog formation with Asa Cardenas (this is the first time anybody ever saw it). And the opposing team had no answer for it. So after marching down the field on the opening possession, what do we do when we get down close to the red zone? Quit on it and start passing... Smh
 17.

Dont know about cheated but was a winnable game. The last 2 plays will be talked about for years to come. Thought the Dogs outplayed Bay City that night just couldnt get it in the endzone (or could they).
Well imma speak the truth, Dogs got cheated by the refs that were paid by the Bay City ISD.  ;)
Pylon was lying down in the out of bounds direction, most frustrating call I have ever seen. 2000 was also the same year (I believe), as the infamous "backwards lateral" at WO-S. It was obvious the Ned receiver was at least 3-4 yards in front of the QB. I guess old Dan's yelling finally got to them in the 4th quarter.
 18. I think its a little dangerous to start looking that far ahead. Players read these forums, believe it or not. Right now, the Dogs have one opponent and one game; the Crosby Cougars on Aug 31. Ill save my prediction until the week of the Angleton game.
 19. Crosby doesnt see 20 points. Ned- 24 Crosby- 17
