Not saying anything bad about the Coach at all .. I’ve heard nothing but great things about him from his players and parents .. But Coach Porter is also a great guy with a good knowledge of baseball and was a Lumberton alumni ..

Porters first year Lumberton won one game. Last year, after three years, Lumberton won 17 games and lost out on the playoffs on the last game of the season. Porter had that program headed in the right direction with young players coming back. I don't know what the new AD is looking for, but the program was successful under Porter. Good luck Josh.

All these teams have playoff experience and given that "what team shows up" and "on any given day" attitude, on paper I don't see one team totally dominating another. If it's a three game series I see a lot of third games. All four games should be good. Good luck.

Great game tonight at the Tiger Diamond. We saw some great pitching, great defense and timely hitting because the pitchers weren't giving nothing up. Young for Lumberton was on tonight going 5 1/3 inning giving up three runs, zero earned while striking out four with two walks. Silsbee's pitcher, Simmons, threw a complete game striking out nine giving up four walks and only one hit, even when he lost focus he was still on. Both defenses played lights out. Silsbee was able to get the timely hits to get the win. Way to stop a two game skid Tigers. TigerNation!!!

What a wacky Saturday in 22-4A
Orangefield slipped a little in their quest for the district championship, Silsbee had to go into extra innings to get a sloppy win and hopes of a share of the championship, LCM hangs on to a shot at a share of the championship, BC took a hit on securing a playoff spot, Lumberton hanging on for dear life for the last playoff spot, Vidor sat back and kept an eye on the district on this crazy day, WOS did everything it could to play spoiler but couldn’t finish. 
It’s the last week in District 22-4A, better hang on it’s going to be a bumpy landing. 

Coach Porter has done a jammed up job with such a young team, this team could be special next year.

Orangefield is separating themselves from the rest of the district, Silsbee has lost two in a row and moved out of first place into second, LCM is hanging on with every breath they take in a tie for second, BC holding onto the fourth spot but making some noise, Lumberton one game out of a playoff spot, Vidor needs to find a way to get consistent and right the ship, WOS has been eliminated from playoffs.

It has been an extremely difficult year all around and things are only now starting to look up and return to something that at least looks more like normal. Teams are in district play and drawing close to playoff time. We will of course have playoff packages available as we look forward to which teams, we will be covering with the hopes of several reaching the state championship as we did with three teams playing for the trophy in basketball. But this school years SETXSports.com has kept up our broadcasts despite the fact we have only hand about 20% of our normal sponsorship.
                But we wanted to contact you early so you could consider what you and your business might consider for the 2021-2022 school year. SETXSports.com will have packages from single teams in single sports all the way to every broadcast, regular season and playoffs with ads on our website. We have too many options and prices to share them all with you in this email but know that SETXSports.com stood by teams during the most unimaginable circumstances and still delivered the action to fans across Southeast Texas.
                So, what we are asking from you at this time is the opportunity to put together a customized package and the cost so you can consider all the options that are available to you beginning in late August.
