Silsbee 5 TD & 28 yard FG, Brownsboro 2 TD. Silsbee has a lot to work on, A LOT!!! Got a lot to work on. It looked like a first scrimmage and needing a second scrimmage before season starts. Vidor runs the same offense as Brownsboro but they are bigger, faster, stronger. Our running looked ok, our passing was spotty. Defense held up to the run but they burned us with the pass a couple of times. Thing is we rotate players so much it was really hard to keep up when the ones, twos and threes where in. One thing about the scrimmage Silsbee was flying everywhere, playing hard. Also, Silsbee has some great coaches that will get things work out. We finally got to play someone else and got film to watch, Texas High School Football is here. TigerNation!!!

Your woe is me lands on deaf ears. The BC teams in 15 and 16 where actually pretty good with athletes all over the field and they had speed. Your down playing of those BC athletes is a slap in their face. In 15 Silsbee had scored a TD to start the fourth quarter to take a twenty point lead and started putting in the backups on defense. That allowed BC to have some long runs for TDs for their last scores. Silsbee's offense was so good that we matched BC TDs with our TDs to keep a twenty the point lead. In 16 BC was stacked with a huge O-line, a coaches son at QB that had been running that offense since the day he could hold a ball and a couple of RBs that was made for that offense and speed on the outside. Silsbee had one returning on offense and three or four returning on defense. Silsbee had to learn new coaches, a new offense and a new defense. One of the best teams BC has ever had beat a Silsbee team that was rebuilding and learning a new offense and defense by one point.
