HF has been notorious for second half come backs. No matter how good we’ve played so far we can’t let off the gas. We’ve got to stay focused and determined in this second half.

We have been on the wrong end of one of these also. In OT, in the playoffs, but ours was a little better defined with the one being down. We know how yall feel.

So, Dayton got a free TD, on their own kickoff, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown, that’s fourteen points that the defense didn’t give up. Then after being down 28-7 in the third quarter held Daytons offense three times so Nederland could tie the game and make a game out of it. I wasn’t there, but after reading this thread it sounds like Big Ned’s defense did do a little bit of something?

Back a little farther down memory lane, 1984 a defensive struggle in ole Kirby Memorial Stadium. 14-10 with time running out, we make a drive and a TD, Lewis to Keel, for the game winner 17-14. That was a great game to be a part of.

I'm excited about the video score board, but it does look small from the road and it would have been nice to have a new middle school and turf on the softball and baseball fields.
