The last game for both of these two teams was against Jasper. WOS won 100-39 and Silsbee won 108-52. First place in district is on the line in this matchup. A solid win for the Tigers, still missing players. Kingwood had some size and was able to dictate the pace a little, but the Tigers were able to overcome and play good defense and push the tempo in the last quarter to pull away. Harris, Rice and Jones are not playing to bad of ball right now. Can’t wait for all the football boys to get back and get their basketball legs under them. TigerNation!!!

I wrote it along the lines of it being a joke, that anyone reading it would get a chuckle out of it.

Why throw the ball when you have a bulldozer for an offensive line and three 1,000 yard backs. The wing-T is supposed to be a time consuming, ware your opponent down type of offense. Y’all run it wrong. Scoring 60 points a game, scoring on long run quick drives. You’re supposed to grind it out, stay on the field, pound and pound the defense. It’s going to be an interesting game.

At the end of the day, you play who is on your schedule. How you win against your competition says a lot. Silsbee and Bellville come into this game 24-0. One team is muti-dimensional, the other is one dimensional. Both teams have defense that will get after you. Big time players will be all over the field.
