In 4A there were some equally impressive performances including outstanding performance from Kingwood Park's Jordan Powell, Friendswood's Leal Lockhart, and GC Memorial's Dennis Cooper. This week's 4A selection, Kevin Roe-Dayton, has been raking all season and in Week-7 piled up a tremendous line of 5-for-11 wtth 2-2RHR, 2-doubles, a single, and 6-RBI.

From what I've seen and heard it will be in Lufkin, or at SFA...those are the only sites I've heard mentioned.  :)

when someone points out something your are doing wrong you distract from the real issue. you either bring up race or blame someone else for something.
 
vidor does have a window to throw it out of. it was painted last week by some vandals….. i saw it on the biased news  :)  

My kids attend Ozen, so I won't report what I hear of what happened because I didn't attend the meeting. Don't want any misinformation hurting Our Ozen Family. I will give any information I'm privy to if I'm in attendance of any further meetings if there are any. Please pray for our kids & we will do the same for yours. it seems to me that everyone is missing the point.  if the coach really told chargois about the problem, and I believe he probably did, and chargois chose not to say anything to the board members, which appears to be true, the only conclusion is that chargois knew how toxic the topic would be and chose not to say anything because he knew the board would never go for the hire in the first place.  this is not about media scrutiny - this is about a school official having knowledge about something that is apparently important to many people - and then choosing to take a road that would lead to all of this trouble.  it should be the credibility of the superintendent that is being questioned, not the coach - and not the media. 
 
this has nothing to do with Kirbyville or hull-daisetta.  this is solely about a lack of leadership and a problem with credibility.

There needs to be more people like you in Beaumont.  Instead of turning the other way or making excuses, demand change.

Racism caused two district employees to still 4 million, overpay Calvin Walker out the butt, take excessive trips then lie about it among many other things, and have the FBI and TEA called in because your district is so corrupt Al Capone blushes. SMH. It is just the opposite. It is because people like Ozensfinest want to point the finger and blame others when they know they screwed up and use the race card instead of being held accountable. 

The big problem in Beaumont is that people in Beaumont and from Beaumont just think there really isnt a problem. Stop defending the district, it doesn't make you or the city worse to say there is corruption and shady stuff going on. Instead of trying to act like there isnt a problem and hoping it will go away hold the people responsible accountable and fix your cities school district. Quit promoting people into power that are obviously not doing their jobs thoroughly and giving everyone a black eye and ending up on the news every other night. It's not normal to have the fbi and tea come in and to constantly have under the table activities come to light. the need to replace everyone at the top and start making wholesale open book change. If you defend BISD at this point and think its just like any other school district you are in 100% denial, but hey ignorance is bliss.

I would say that in regards to what shape BISD is currently in, they should be extremely careful in who they are hiring these days.  Anyone with any baggage at all will be put through the microscope.
