Senior night in Rebel-land.  Daniel Bean is the lone senior and just happens to be my middle son.  Time flies, and it seems like yesterday we were headed to our first OYBS practice.  From the first all-star trip with Jack Dallas, KJ Miller, Blade Broussard, Tre Bernard and the rest of the team that ended up 8th in the state - at 5 years old it has been a great journey.  This has been a blessing as he has been privileged to play with so many great players:

I know I've probably missed someone, and for that I apologize.  We have gotten to watch you play at TAMU, U of H, Rice, TCU, Texas Tech, Lamar, McNeese, Sam Houston, SFA, NWSU, Alvin, Blinn and so many more beautiful parks.  My personal faves were TAMU, Rice, Tech and U of H.
We love you son and hope you have a great night, and a deep playoff run.  It has been a blessing to watch you play the game and develop into a leader and a great young man.
 
 

HJ lost a heartbreaker to Tarkington tonight 5-3 in the bottom of 8th with 2 run homer

HJ scored two in the 6th for 2-1 win.

Funny you say that, so im guessing 3k to much for you to send on your kid? Thats why me and you are 2 different people..I will spend whatever on my kid to play the best and get the best training...Baseball is a sport where you spend alot of money to get the best out your kid right???? Also spent alot of money for a personal trainer for him...I can say its been some WELL SPEND MONEY...LOL...To bad your opinion doesn't apply too me

A big congratulations to KJ and the whole family.  He officially signed yesterday to play both football and baseball for the ETBU Tigers.  That's my former school, and I know he will have a great four years.  Best of luck KJ, and sure proud of you.

OK so I am not one to ever post on these sites but I really feel like I should say something since it seems you have a very strong opinion of HJ. Here we go First off "devour HJ" wow this coming from the person who talked so much smack about HJ saying we did not have the athletes or could not compete with Liberty because they were on a different level as well as that barnyard offense we ran did not stand a chance. Well guess what we beat Liberty fair and square the game was a battle and that night the better team came out with a Victory. With no surprise you disappeared from that thread after the game. No Congrats to HJ or game well played. Instead some Liberty fans used excuses about the TVE fair going on. I would like to say that I am proud to Support the Hawks they have great athletes and lots of talent. They play with heart and integrity and tons of respect. I am very proud to say my son represents the Hawks he is led by some of the BEST coaches around that take pride in the Great program they have grown in just a few short years. The parents also take pride in their boys and school. We try and support all teams! These are High school boys and these years are supposed to be awesome for them. The negativity does not affect them it just makes them HUNGRY! I was really surprised about the lack of respect that some of the Liberty players showed by taunting the fans of the opposing team and the show boating. Go back and watch any game film from any HJ game and you will see that those boys are very HUMBLE and RESPECTFUL win or lose!! We are not worried about meeting Liberty there are many great teams in the playoffs we face to get to that game. With that being said our focus is on Shepherd this week and if we are the Victors tonight we will focus on that opponent next week. Do not count your chickens before they hatch!! Good luck to all the Teams that have made it this far.  And a Special GOOD LUCK to the HAWKS tonight! DYJ# WE ARE HJ!!!!

I was ready to call the season after watching a couple of scrimmages and practice early on. lol they proved me wrong and they have got better every game. HJ looks scrappy and so are we, I think this will be the best game out of the two districts squaring off. 

The guy they were so high on Brown had a crucial fumble in the 4th that led to a field goal. Score was really not indicative of the game. HJ's barnyard unathletic kids dominated that game. Take that crow, put that in your cigarillo and smoke it Texaspanthers2012. 8-2 don't look so bad when you get that ass whooped next week. Ha Ha love crow gumbo in cold weather

Does this mean HJ gets to be ranked now?
