  1. Regardless of who takes Ploch's place , Dayton will be a tough team to beat, but it would have been nice to see Ploch and Viverette, both on the field. Their very similar QB's, both good passers and both a threat to run the ball....
  2. BH #42, I've heard may not play until the last game or so of the season. He also suffered a concussuion and the risk is too high for any of the kids for one game..Good luck to all these injured warriors..Hope to see them back on the field soon.
  3. Hey , thats all anybody can ask.. Give it your all, with what you got and leave it on the field..
  4. I think its fair to say that neither team is at full strength right now. BH has lost its top receiver and now a couple of guys on defense.. Dayton sounds like Ploch is very questionable. Its a shame these guys may miss a big game like this their senior year..Hopefully they'll be ready for the next week or the playoffs.
  5. Maybe should be "The Wounded Warrior Bowl", sounds like both teams have injuries.. Hope everybody gets mended so they can play. Both teams are obviously much better than they played last Friday night. BH has a linebacker that missed last week along with a couple guys that are pretty much done for the year..and it sounds like Peyton took a pretty good shot. Hope he's ready, hate to see any of the kids miss out. Should be a good one. Don't think either team is ready to hand the trophy to Crosby just yet.
  6. 34, Can't agree with on the roughing the punters... Same kid in the GP game did it, and again last night, and he keeps getting trotted back out there without correcting the problem...Refs had nothing do do with us getting our butts kicked... Crosby and Dayton both shut down Allen.. he had 259 yds and 4 Td's last night... One of our best LB's was sidelined last night still with an injury so, you know their coming right at you, up the middle.. No adjustments at halftime... Yeah I agree the coaches don't fumble the ball, throw interceptions, and don't miss tackles, so yeah its a team loss, but we got outcoached...WRAP UP GUYS!!!!! We aren't good enough not to and still win games..Hey GCM scored more poiints against us on a rainy, muddy, night than they did against Crosby and Dayton combined..Typically with that kind of weather your offensive numbers are down......Thats coaching not kids.
  7. Out played , out coached......Congrats to GCM......Ranger your boys played an awesome game under horrible conditions and kicked our butt......Its hard to talk with feathers in my mouth, but will have more later.....
  8. Unbelievable......GCM came prepared to play, and kicked our butts, plain and simple..Congrats on great effort on their part and coaching.. Our coaching was horrible......Why have Hopper in the game with 8:00 minutes to go when your getting beat 39-7.....And look what happens, he gets hurt..People at that point the game is over, its time to play the reserves and start thinking about next week,,,Looks like its against the rules for our kids to get excited and pumped up.......Viverette's limping around,,,,You have to protect your starters from injury when your up 32 points or down 32 points (Remember Chris Daniels).....C'mom thats unreal........Injuries and issues are beginning to take a toll on great group of young men....Storks gone, Brian Meyer, gone for dicipline reasons, Bellard will be gone for surgey, now posssibly Hopper, guess if your gonna let Stubbs back on the team, you ought to play him some, Don't have clue what these guys are thinking...BH got outcoached last night...I admire the time and effort all the coaches put in, but this ones on you guys......
  9. Pretty sure BHplayer011 is not "the player#11......not his style......GEEZ, its time to put the ball on the tee and get this one started.. This has gotten way to deep......
  10. gcmbigdaddy. You just lost any credibility of football knowledge that you might have had on this forum with that statement........Not hard to have a winning tradition in 1a,2a. 3a ball......Wow....You obviously never laced up the cleats in highschool......Enough said....[
  11. BH will win this one, but not by the kind of margin as last year....GCM is improved , and well coached, but BH has group of Seniors that have been playing together for years, and good support cast of Sophomores and Juniors that are determined to clinch a playoff spot this Friday, a very unselfish team....BH wins this one 27 -13... "Rangers boy" kicks two thru the uprights....and a PAT.....Both Larson and Viverette are two of the better QB's in the area so it should be fun, unless the rain totally washes things out...Viverette's numbers are impressive..Hey if the weathers too bad, don't make any Saturday plans....
  12. Lumberton @ Central WOS @ Silsbee Channelview @ West Brook Galena Park NS @ Memorial Dayton @ Crosby GooseCreek Mem @ Barbers Hill Ozen @ Vidor LCM @ Nederland PNG @ Livingston Diboll @ Jasper Hamshire Fannett @ Orangfield Hardin Jefferson @ Bridge city Kirbyville @ Shelbyville Woodville @ Newton East Chambers @ Hardin Kountze @ Deweyville Warren @ Buna Colmesneil @ Sabine Pass Evadale @ Burkeville High Island @ West Hardin
  13. And by the way Ranger, totally different kid was kicking in the PNG game.. Hasn't kicked PAT's or extra points since.....although he still kicks off and does a good job...
  14. Ok, VBhubby, now were on the same page... I knew you really loved BH., just had to get it outta ya..... I agree BH can be beat if they take these guys lightly..Thats a coaches job to see that 16 and 17 year old boys stay focused....but they should take care of business.. The rain may change the game plans a bit..
  15. VBhubby, You just keep saying BH is overated while we keep racking up wins heading towards the playoffs....Whatever makes you feel good.. and after BH defeats GCM, you can say we still haven't beat anybody with a winning record , beacuse their 3-3...Hey we can't help it if the other teams on our schedule ain't winning games.....Talk to me Saturday morning..I've said along along, Crosby and Dayton both will be really good test for BH..Obviously Dayton's the team to beat, and that will be tough task for anybody.
  16. VBhubby, actually it was a 29 yd fg..Not a miracle, the BH kicker is solid....and if you weren't at the game, I assure you,the score doesn't reflect the game...BH will handle GCM...That comparing scores holds little water in any game... What matters is when the two teams square off against each other.....
  17. No, Ranger fences and rivers don't work, already seen that afew hundred miles south, but we do have a swamp and alot of gators out here......and just a few good ole boys........
  18. Purple, I think ACORN is in charge of recruiting new tenants for the Mall.....
  19. Ranger83, Thanks, maybe after reading this, all the people flocking to The Hill from Baytown will stay put....The schools at Baytown are so much better!. Please STAY!!!!
  20. If thats true about Bellard, not good....Coaching 101, Move #40 Hopper back to Defense at linebacker, he's played it before and would be very good there.. #14 has done a good job at safety, and move one of the reserves in to fill the receiver spot that Hoppers been playing.. just a thought, your go to guys are Duke, Smith, and Morton anyway, although Hopper has done good job there....Hoppers more valuable on defense..IMO.. we need a couple more Hoppers on the team...
  21. I think GCM is very well coached...Those guys have brought that program along ways in just a year.. ranger looks like your boy had a good game.....threw for a td.....Nice!...
  22. Both Dayton and BH have beaten "average teams at best".....Purple4ever has learned a new word, "grandeur"..Better focus on this week....
  23. Your right, my mistake liltex....well then, the coogs won't have far to go to get their Happy Meal.....just up the road..
