1. Go to Iguana Joe's.. It's literally owned by BH fans........That'll be fun. Like a guy who don't ride walking in a biker bar..........
2. Hmm, hadn't been too long ago PNG was 3-6 team...What a 10-0 record won't do to bring out the fair weather fans.....That ought to stir em up......
3. Good Luck GCM.......BH is pulling for you...Hope You guys take it to em.......
4. May not feel that way if that 5-5 team from BH knocks you out of the playoffs....Other than Vidor and Central everyteam in district 20-4a ya'll beat had 5-5 records or worse......Didn't PNG go into overtime with Texas City also...
5. Diamond-J is right on. Turnovers are the key to winning this game. A few take-aways would help Barbers Hill and the odds of them having (7) turnovers again ain't gonna happen this time around. I hope all the PNG players are as over confident as the guys on this forum, that will work to the advantage of Barbers Hill. Remember PNG had to come from behind in the last minutes of the game to tie up the game on blocked kick to beat a 7-3 Central team that lost to a 4-6 Livingston team, so these guys are giant killers, they can be beat. While PNG had a great year at 10-0, and has every right to be proud of this year, if they get over confident and cocky, they'll have plenty of time to watch Saturday morning cartoons the next day...Ya'll just keep believing these guys are you basic 5-5 team. BH is waiting, Come on down....
6. etbu, How you doing guy... Yes, he's a senior and has had a good year..Looking forward to Friday night. Hopefully he'll have good game, and thanks for asking..
7. You might tell whoevers driving the PNG bus home from Stallworth Friday night, if you guys exit 146 just up the road, theres a McDonalds there that will be serving up your choice of Happy meals or McCrow sandwiches whichever, will get you thru til next year when football starts all over again at the Reservation.
8. This game will be close. No blowouts here on either side.. I remember the same kind of talk before game 1 from PNG, and they were very lucky to squeak out a win. I know, I know, not the same PNG team......but BH plays very good ball control on offense. Turnovers have plaqued BH , primarily in the redzone after long drives, and they'll have to eliminate those, but point is ,if BH can keep the ball out of PNG hands, will be hard for them to run away with this game. They are well coached solid team no doubt, but a blowout, not gonna happen. That's wishful thinking on some fans part that have probably never put on a jockstrap...I assure you, their coaches know better...If PNG comes into this game 'over confident" their season could definitelty be over.....The group from BH who are pretty much health again, won't be laying down for anybody and besides, none of those guys play basketball anyway, so they got plenty of time on their hands.......This game will be decided by a touchdown or less.....4 of 5 losses for BH are a combined total of 15 points. This is not your normal 5-5 team, so IMO ,thats very misleading record..  Every kid on the BH team wants another shot at PNG so it all worked out. Would have been nice to see what kinda season Stork would have had if he hadn't got hurt.. but nice to have him back.....Go Eagles, play hard, and win with class.....
9. khs89, Barbers Hill has been in the playoffs 34 times and has 3 State Championships. Winning is not new to the program...
10. Weasel, Hmm, that name fits pretty good...I have to believe that 99% of the fans and players I met from PNG have more class in their little finger than what you can throw out. I remember seeing purple and white streamer on cars headed along I-10 going to the Astrodome long before you were born I'm sure, so don't tell any of us about the history of either program. And to indicate "Dayton" has no game.. Hey guy, they went to the State Finals last year, and thats some place PNG hasn't been in a while..... PNG has every right to be proud, great year and a great new coach, but "Do it with Class".. Darrell Royal used to have a saying after one of his players scored or they got a big win.."Act like you been here before"..You might try and apply that theory,Weasel..

12. Bronco., I couldn't disagree more... I'm not a guy that blames every bad thing that happens on Price.. but I will tell you this, IMO, "Every Coach" should be on the bus with "his" team. Its a bond, a unit, a sense of I'm going to battle with you. I can tell you "many" of the players feel a disconnect from Price....Their position coaches are close to them, but do not feel that bond with the top guy..It's not all about X's and O's....and thats problem anyway you cut it..
13. Thank you Ranger, C'mon Dayton and Crosby let me know.. You know where I'm going with this.....
14. Question, You guys associated with the surrounding schools would know this...Does Coach Stewart at Dayton, Flanigan at Crosby, or Boyd at GCM travel with their team? Do they actually take the bus, or their personal vehicles, and if not, do you think they should?
15. By the way saw a forum on field conditions, and wanted to say that BH needs to go ahead and spend the money on turf.. The field is not in good shape at all right now....Nice press box, but playoffs games won't happen until the field updates to turf IMO...The only  school in the district other than North Forest without turf... Hey, can't blame this one on the coaches.. lol ..  should
16. Ranger, He still teaches and coaches at the middle school..., No longer making turkey sandwiches at the subway... He got outta that business.....
17. Jabo was in a league of his own.....And the kids to this day really love and respect this guy...He'd make a great head coach.....talk about a motivator,,,,
18. This loss was due to turnovers plain and simple.. With almost 500 yds in offense and 24 first downs, thats not the coaches..5 turnovers will do you in almost everytime.. Faircloth was an offensive coordinator at Permian.. Now he's AD and head coach.. A nice pay raise will get you to move regardless of 4a or 5a......
19. Purple4ever, The basketball comment is weak......I imagine Dayton will be right there with them on the hardwood.......

21. Ranger, When Earl Campbell first came to UT and started playing it was obvious to Darrell Royal what kind of special player and person Earl was..He gave Earl a good piece of advice early in his collegiate career. He told him "Earl, When you get to the End Zone, act like you've been there before". The rest is history.....Earl always handled his trips into the end zone with class. You guys had a nice win over BH.....Enjoy it and move on with class... There will other bright days ahead for BH and Dayton after tough losses last week,,,,but win are lose they'll move on with class... Thats what separates winners and losers...Better focus on tonights game.... Last weeks over!!!
22. Have no idea who the 6th starter to be lost this year is for BH.... I count 5....anyway theres a bunch..
