1.

More important than records and game plans, when the kids come off the field for doing something good, they are met by numerous coaches hugging and high-fiving them for encouragement.  When you do something wrong, you get coached, not yelled at from 20-yards away with no point in your sarcasim.  Point being, the days of Don Price are thankfully LONG GONE.  I have yet to see a kid walk past the coach ignoring him, as would happend every game when Price was here. Give me an AMEN!
Cha-Ching....guess dem fellars over at da hill, were rite after all. Just sayin ! AMEN !!!!!!
Coach Price was aloof from the players and inaccessible to the parents. He coached a game from 30yds down the sideline from the players. I think he was burned out the last couple of years he was here and was just giong through the motions. His teams won because for the most part he had good coaches working for him and the dedication of the kids to work hard. Coach Gage brought in a new crop of young coaches with a lot of enthusiasm. Coach Bruce Taylor stayed with BH and no one has more enthusiasm than him. Coach Gage did the right thing by retaining Bruce. Gage  is not only a motivator but a very good technician of the game. Play calling, execution of the clock, etc. He is the real deal. He is also very friendly and accessible to the parents. BH is blessed with a great senior class of players this year also. There may be some drop off next year but coach Gage will find a way to win. He is building the program from the bottom up. He also plays the 2nd string when we have a comfortable lead which gives those boys experience and keeps everyone happy. Price never did that. He would play the starters until the last play even when winning by a huge margin. Our quarterback, Chris Daniels, tore his ACL late in the 4th quarter one year and lost a full ride scholarship to rice. We had a big lead in that game when it happened. We are lucky to have Coach Gage and all he brings to the team and school district.
Couldn't have said it better.. You are 100% correct! Gage actually has "people skills" and can relate to the kids for more than just being football players...Wish my 2 could have played for him.
2. BH by 28 points.. King will be outcoached, outplayed, out hustled on both sides of the ball. BH is a well disciplined team, not many mistakes. The King players will be fighting and blaming each other by the 2nd quarter.
3. Dayton by 14...Really don't see them losing another game through the remainder of district. I was at the BH/Dayton game a few weeks back, and I'm a solid BH fan, my son played for them a few years back, but that game could have went either way. Dayton will end up making some noise in the playoffs. Still have good athletes and may not have Stewart coaching but they'll be fine. ALSO WORTH NOTING,THEY HANDLED THAT LOSS WITH ALOT OF CLASS TOO, FOR A PROGRAM THAT DOESN'T LOSE TO OFTEN..
4. One of the best High school games I've seen in along time. Dayton handled the loss with class. And yeah the kids brother that made it home from a War zone safely, that puts everything in perspective. The teams wer e basically tied almost the entire game other than halftime..
5. Nice win by BH.. I predicted BH 24 Dayton 17...Shoud have given them each one more TD,,,BH willl definitely make a little noise in the playoffs..Offense can move the ball and defense is solid..Nice job by the kids and BH coaching staff.
6. Dayton, that logic makes perfect sense.. I can agree with that, just don't see Dayton hanging 40 or 50 points on BH, but will be the first to tell you BH will have to play a near perfect game to win, but it could happen. I see a 7- 10 point spread. Its Dayton's until somebody knocks them off...they've earned that.. BH does have a rock solid LB corp and a pretty solid secondary..
7. Yeah, Tina shaves her legs and uses a teethbrush instead of toothbrush......
8. Wow, Amazing, Looking at the poll results thusfar, there are actually almost 32% of the Bronco faithful that believe Dayton will hang 40 points or more on BH. Keep in mind this is a team thats given up an average of about 5 points per game in 3 games including 2 pretty decent 20-4a teams. Hey Dayton may or may not win, but 40 to 50 points on BH, no way. They are obviously serving up the purple Kool-Aid at the Dayton Sonic again with free refills. Probably the same guys voting for Obama......Geez, Yeah I know Ike,,,, blah blah blah......
9. BH will win this one 24 to 17. Dayton will be out played and out coached......Ouch, haven't been able to say either in a number of years... That ought to stir the pot and wake up the purple faithful. Let the fun begin.....Hey if BH wins all the football guys from from Dayton can show up wearing Blue shirts for Sunday morning services at Old River and if BH looses they can all go look for purple at the nearest thrift store and and show up at First Baptist Dayton...
10. GROVETON BY 10.....and I'll get to see this one , will be in the Big G on Friday nite... Football and a deer hunt...nice!....
11. GROVETON BY 21......These guys believe they cxn beat anybody now.. Not the same team that played Alto....They win their last 2 games to go 9-1....
12. Bronco1 has been saying this all week, so another pat on the back,.....Good job BH, you guys are getting better each week, and I think will edge Crosby out for 2nd place...Defense is playing solid and offense is starting to click.. Dayton's just in league of their own , so finishing second to those guys ain't bad....
13. Thanks for the update WOS....That one ended up like I wanted it to....except it was a little too close...
