I have shoes older than him I'm sure....Hey, BH is on it way back up... we've missed the playoffs the last two years, but have been there, hmm, I'll have to drive by the stadium and count of the numbers....We're gonna show up this year anyway... lol

Texans, Is that vein i see stickin out the side of your neck..Settle down, now...Last time I checked, let's see was that 2 or 3 State Championship trophies in the trophy case at BH..Whether BH wins 2 or 10 games a year the papers will be there and I'm sure the coaches will talk to them. Hey come down off yur high hoss lil man, their are other schools in the state that play football too. And like I said earlier, Let me repeat again for Texans, If the newspaper has an agenda, then more power to Stewart for not talking...thats his right! .Plain enough for ya.......

Not popping of Texans, just repeating what the article said, coached refused to talk. I hope all the coaches in the area can find a little time to talk to a newspaper thats coming out to do astory on their team. If you got a problem with tha too bad..Take chill pill little man..

If thats the case, then I understand, and I agree Coach Stewarts a good guy, and him not talking to paper just didn't sound right. I just hope we never get to the point where highschool athletics is like some of the colleges or pros...It should be about the kids and for the kids....and I agree this is a busy time of the year and coaches get busy taking care of business..Anyway good luck to Dayton this year, should be another wild ride.....

Wow, Coach Stewart wouldn't even grant an interview for a local newspaper article...I can understand wanting to protect your players from that, but we are still talking "highschool football" here aren't we.....Last time I checked the locals were still paying the salaries... Sheeeeesh!

Thats right, lights aren't working..replacing them.. You'd think all the work would have been done several months back, afterall the hurricane hit a year ago.....Press box will never be completed by first home game from the looks of it.....lot of work to go...and still need to put up a new scoreboard, otherwise bring paper and pen I guess..

Steel curtain is right on again IMO. The "D" line is critical in helping a young secondary perform to their ability. A strong pass rush in passing situations, will give the secondary time to mature and gel into a solid unit. We play some teams with exceptional speed, so the secondary will have to step up, but BH has good athletes here.

yeah , he is the brother.. and I've heard he's gonna be good one...Ih he's a sophmore, then no freshman have been brought up to work with the varsity that I'm aware of...but its early...

Yes, it'll be good to get this underway, kinda see how they look.. I'm anxious to see, just whose taking most of the snaps, I'm sure it will be pretty evenly split.. Also whose playing in the defensive secondary.. lots of losses last year to graduation, so that will be key...also other than Kade Bradford, whose gonna tote the ball.. Lots of spots up for grabs...Only freshman I heard that was working out with the varsity was Sexton...

This was a "no brainer".. Price isn't going to start a freshman at QB....The Viverette and McDonald kids are both very capable of handling the job. Both have good arm strength, speed and leadership ability as Seniors..Viverette is a good sized kid,and that won't hurt his chances...

Yeah, agreed, seeing how the QB position shakes out for BH will be interesting.. Viverette has good speed on defense, so he would be missed there. Don't think Brown has played football in while, but has speed. Their are lots of holes to fill from last year due to graduation as far as DB's go.. Very few teams have the speed to deal with Dayton, but I think any of these guys would be fine against the other schools. And with Crosby losing Xavier Franks, that hurts them bigtime..

Another kid to look at for running the ball would be Mitchell Hopper.. Smart kid, great attitude and strong as a bull.....Their gonna need help there...

That would be Garrett Payne. Might also mention Chris Fechner on the line, and Chrs Frazier, at Lb or possibly could get a look at running the ball. Their gonna need more than just Kade Bradford. The secondary had losses due to graduation and if Viverette moves to QB, look for Eric Ables, Kyle Brown, Cade Mcdonald, or Richard Ibbarra I think to get playing time there.. all those guys have good speed and are seniors I think. They have lot of seniors this year. I agree these guys are gonna surprise some people.

BH89, I'll bet you a shake at the "New Sonic", their in the playoffs this year...They may squeak in, but they'll be there...

In relationship to Price at BH, yeah, I'm not always on the same page with him, but to his credit, take a look at the Southeast Coaches records on this site: From 1998-2006, thats as far as listed as of now, he had almost an 82% winning record, thats #2 for all coaches in the SETX area.. Those aren't my numbers, thats straight from the record book.... So at least in that time frame he was doing something right. Lets see what they do this year.. "IF" he plays his best talent, and not just kids that have been pampered for the last 2 or 3 years, but kids that earn it and have heart, I believe it'll be a better year for BH.. (I heard their were kids last year that skipped a practice and were found at the local McDonalds eatin a burger)...In my football days they would have been riding the bench for a while..or booted offf the team..Gotta have dicipline and no one player or group of players is more important than the team as a whole. We'll see.. PS: I'm old enough to remember when their were some at University of Texas read to fire Coach Darrel Royal in 1976...He actually retired that year under pressure from alumni..(3 national championships to his credit).... Now the stadium is named after him....

Gettin close guys...... Need to make sure the Bh boys get there early, so we don't miss the kickoff, sounds like with all the construction..Finally saw the interviews with ya'lls new coach... seems like a great guy... PNG got a good one in him.....Two class programs goin at it... Can't wait....

I don't see anyway possible the BH pressbox will be finished by the first home game Sept. 4th.....Somebody better really get on the stick..But when completed its gonna be really nice...

lol, Good one Bhfan, I saw Merka earler this year at 7 on 7.... Probably an off day, but he was missing his recievers bigtime...He defintely has the size and arm strength though.
